We're super excited to announce a whopping contest collab with @ericvancewalton!
Memoir Monday has grown exponentially and inspired many of our Silver Bloggers to dig into the archives of our minds and in the nether depths of our cupboards and attics. I personally contacted family from the older generation (yes I'm not part of that era yet!) and asked questions and begged for photos. Many memories surfaced as I sat down and started writing and sharing precious memories! What a privilege that we have this platform as our personal memory bank!
We tried to get Blog of the Month on the road again on April Fool's Day 2024 and you did not disappoint, but life stuff happened. Good and bad!
Life has been a roller-coaster ride for the team, as it has been for many of you, our awesome Silver Bloggers, but we dust ourselves off, and get up again, right? Nothing's gonna stop us now or ever!
A contest is just what we all need to clear out the cobwebs, and Eric has an awesome thought-provoking #memoirmonday prompt which will be for this Writing Contest. You will find all about it in Eric's Memoir Monday blog, and here is the LINK.

- Posts must be in English and obviously centre on the week’s theme or topic.
- Prose must be a minimum of 350 words. If it’s a photo or graphic essay, the photos must be your original work and preferably with some sort of back-story to the images.
- The blog must be posted in/from our community
- The account must be a subscribed Silver Blogger
- Use memoirmonday - as your first tag.
- Share the link to your entry in the comments of this post.
