A Thousand Thorns For The Beauty Of But One
Cry of anguish, reflection in happiness, hearty happy laughter, remembering someone or something now gone?
No regrets, time together has flourished like the rose when time arrives withers. Watching this bloom reminded me of how swiftly much can change. This song holds special meaning in something that can journey with us for a lifetime, or be a part of the journey.
Rosebuds are a symbol of beauty and courage, take courage from nature in a positive light, always adds meaning, bringing about pleasure, to young and slightly older a show of love and romance.
Eternal rose of sweet heavenly wine, tipped ruby red like fruits of paradise against the morning light, pressed with reminder of thorns below, each rose carries an eternal flame in our hearts.
Some say love, it is a river
That drowns the tender reed
Some say love, it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed
Some say love, it is a hunger
An endless aching need
I say love, it is a flower
And you, its only seed
It's the heart, afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance
It's the dream, afraid of waking
That never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken
Who cannot seem to give
And the soul, afraid of dying
That never learns to live
When the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose
