The other day the question raised on the Silverbloggers Discord about how to swap Hive and/or exchange HBD using an exchange. So i shared my way of doing that.
After my explanations i was asked to may put that into a blog for everyone to know. I'm sure there are already some how to's out there with much more details of folks with more knowledge... but hey, here i add mine!
Withdraw Swap.Hive
...to your hive account on the tribaldex site!
Log In to tribaldex with Keychain
Go to your wallet there...
(it's the little icon between the ☀️ and your username)
Click "withdraw",
choose the token "swap.hive", put in the amount to withdraw, the withdrawal address (your hive username without the @ ) and click on the withdraw swap.hive button...
TADA!
About trading HBD
...via the tribaldex site!
...(without waiting for three days) and then withdraw it to your hive account
Log In with Keychain
Go to your wallet
Click deposit and follow the instructions
Which is:
In YOUR HIVE WALLET you send the amount you want to swap, to the hive user address graphene-swap
After a few minutes you can see your HBD as swap.hbd in your wallet.
Now click on the little trade icon...
Select SELL, also Market and give in the quantity you want to sell and sell it
(Ha, that's lots of sells... smirk)
A moment later you can see the swap.hive you bought in your wallet...
If you want that on your hive account,
- go and click "withdraw" ,
- choose the token "swap.hive",
- put in the amount to withdraw,
- put in the withdrawal address (your hive username without the @ )
- click on the withdraw swap.hive button...
Tada! That's it for the withdrawal and/or trade of Hive and HBD. It's kind of similar on hive-engine.com, but since they work on a new interface and stuff, some say tribaldex.com is working smoother for now.
