Happy with my new mug with HIVE logo

Last week I was writing about some of the things I wanted to change in myself and a great friend commented on Discord that perhaps my inability to receive compliments had to do with the unconscious belief that I do not believe I deserve them and that in our society we are more ready to give than to receive.

This friend even pointed out to me that in our culture we are taught that we should give without expecting anything in return: gifts, favors, even love. However, each one of us is a space through which things circulate: just as we give, to the same extent, we receive.

Anyway, the idea is to be thankful for the things we receive and celebrate them, because the universe is an infinite provider. In that sense, today I want to be thankful for my new super coffee mug that my beautiful niece None (Eloynes) gave me. #

My niece recently discussed her thesis for her degree in graphic design. Her thesis defense was very good, but it was also very emotional, as she had words of gratitude for her entire family.

That feeling of gratitude was embodied in this gift that she gave me and that I am infinitely grateful for: my super coffee mug with the Hive logo and with my username @nancybriti1.

I love gifts, especially if they are unexpected and have no reason. Expecting and receiving gifts on our birthday or special occasion gives us a nice feeling, but receiving gifts without expecting them is the ultra plus of happiness: it is a feeling of infinite gratitude.

As I am one of those who have no filter and believe that you have to ask for the universe to deliver, at the time of receiving my coffee or tea mug with the Hive logo, I told her that I would also like her to give me a flannel with the @silverbloggers logo. So now I'm crossing my fingers that the universe has heard me and my flannel will arrive soon.

Well, this publication is to thank my mug, also to remember that everything we receive is a reflection of what we give and that we must be grateful for words, love, circumstances. Someone said somewhere, I don't know who, that when God throws us a piece of candy, we should open our mouths.
