Blue & Green Should Always be Seen - But Can You Guess My Favourite?

'Blue and green should never be seen, unless there's a colour in between' said Jamie's Nan.

Sorry, Nan, but that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Because, um, sky and forest? Ocean and sky and forest? The most calming, beautiful colours to be surrounded by, that soothes my soul? Ain't no colours I'm putting in between blue and green!

If you ask for my favourite colour, I'll mostly say green - forest green, kale green. A dep, rich, nature green - fern fronds and gum leaves. It's THE colour of nature, and I love wearing it in winter, where I spend a lot of time in the forest. My best friend just knitted me a deep green scarf, thick and luscious.

I tell my grandson Ned my favorite colour is green. His is blue. That makes sense. I talk to him about the blue sky and the green forest. That makes perfect sense to a 2.5 year old.

The great blue ocean 🌊 is my favourite blue of course, but depending on the depth of the water or the light it can be green.

Blue is the moon, sometimes, and my heart on sad days.

Green is also our Land Rover. She can hide in the forest.

Green is my longboard. I love her THIS much. She floats on the blue green of the ocean 🌊 ... And so does my stand up SUP, sliding down a green faced wave...

Blue and green, I say to Jamie's Nan, should always be seen.

But which is my favourite?
