Hello Hivians and Hello Silver Bloggers!
Are you ready for Winter?
Being a project manager one of the most important things to control is change. Let that get out of control and you can kiss your budget and schedule goodbye!
But it seems change is rife and rampant all over the fluffing place.
It used to be called global warming, but now it is called climate change. To be honest it is a much more appropriate name as whilst some places are experiencing warmer climes, ours are just balmy.
Waking up to 1 degree Celcius temperatures in the beginning of October or alleged Autumn seems absurd. Now I hear snow is zipping its way next week.
By the way for some of you lucky readers living in warmer climes, that is frost on the car. Yes ice that needs removed that is how cold our Autumn is!
Ah well, we have wreaked havoc on our planet and don't seem to able to change our behaviour.
Saturday afternoon after Storm Babat heaped rain and winds everywhere on the East coast of Scotland. We were lucky though, it seemed it was further up the coast past Dundee. I know Brechin was devastated and they had upgraded their flood defences in 2016. Seven years later and the rains and floods from the river have caused havoc and misery.
But that picture is typical Scottish weather, look at the sky, rain, sun, white sky, grey sky it has no clue what to be.
The old adage if you don't like the weather then wait five minutes and it will change is even more true these days!
That was on the way to get the glasses for Mrs T. Just look at the seas. Those waves, I must admit having lived beside the sea in many countries around the world, I just love waves crashing to shore.
The power of the sea, the power of nature, I love it!
Although you won't catch me surfing in it, I used to know many surfers up in the North of Scotland and mad was a word I would describe them with.
But change happens when the seas get angry.
All sorts of things get deposited on the beach.
Not just sea glass but pottery shards too, they're pretty aren't they?
We can make all sorts with them and have jars full of white and green, red and blue pieces of sea glasses. It is so cool how smooth nature has made the glass over the years.
More change!
So we got the glasses for Mrs T and guess what ...
The opticians SpecSavers had had a refit. Yes they changed the layout of the shop, they seemed to get rid of the audiology side of things. The aisles had opened up and it was more roomy!
Changes they are every fluffing where!
So I shall finish with one last change .... This time a good one!
Do you see that above?
