I’m not much for traditional goals; I tend to live mostly spontaneously, guided by intuition. And I have broad brush strokes of what I’d like to explore this year.
International travel
After spending the end of 2018 and all of 2019 traveling the world, I landed in Bali in January of 2020, intending to spend a few months here. It’s been a wonderful place to spend the last two years, and I’m getting itchy feet.
Return to the US
Much of the past year, I’ve had the idea that I might return to the US “in 2 or 3 months”. And with each new visa, I chose again to stay. Now I am ready to return for awhile. I miss my family and friends. I’m tired of the time zone difference.
Istanbul
As I’ve researched return routes, the one through Istanbul piqued my interest. It has a long layover, so I thought instead of 8 hours, how about 8 days? All dependent on the vagaries of the virus, of course.
Latin America
I’ve been researching medical tourism because I need cataract surgery. I lived in Medellin, Colombia for a month in August 2019, and it is one of the top places for this procedure.
An ayahuasca retreat in Peru has been on my lifetime bucket list for a few years, and this might be the year for it. Another possible destination is Panama. Some of my travel buddies from 2019 are headed down there, so if we can coordinate schedules, it would be fun to meet up again.

Crypto
While I have small holdings in traditional cryptos, most of my investment is in Splinterlands assets. I’ve been playing since August and I’m happy with my results so far. Now I’m ready to diversify a bit.
GameFi
I’m on the lookout for other play-to-earn opportunities. I’ve been playing
dCrops, an idle earning game for a few months now. It’s paying fractional hive daily.

Healing Myself and Others
My time here in Bali has been (ironically, during a Pandemic) about healing: physically, emotionally, spiritually. Ten weeks before I arrived, I had a bad fall in Mexico that resulted in five broken ribs and required surgery. Emotional and spiritual healing are ongoing adventures.
I’ve been studying an amazing form of aquatic bodywork called Healing Dance. I call it “playing mermaid”.
I’m also studying the Akashic Records, Intentional Synchronicity and Healing the Wounded Witch. I don’t quite know how all this fits together, and I trust that as I stay open to intuitive guidance, it will unfold.

I’ve had lots of ideas for hive posts that have, up until now, remained good ideas. Part of the Healing the Wounded Witch is letting myself be seen. Here’s a current brainstorm of series/topics:

There are a variety of other forms of creative expression that beckon. Shawl knitting is a constant. I frequently have 2-3 projects on the needles.
I’ve been missing my art quilting ventures. Not sure whether I’ll be able to take that up again this year or not. It’s not suited to the nomadic lifestyle.
I keep thinking I want to learn to do urban sketching or sketchnote or paint or something. Little watercolor postcards of my travels would be so cool. But so far, the desire hasn’t been strong enough for me to establish any regular practice. So that’s a long shot 😂
