Nuthatches are some birds that are common here in austria and because of their behaviour they are one of the easier birds to take pictures of especially during mating time in spring. When I visited the Cementary forest this year in spring I was able to take several pictures of a nuthatch couple that was having sex and also the act with the bridal gift and some more interesting scenes were visible in front of my lens. I was happy to be able to document these scenes and take a lot of pictures and also the light was very great this day, exept on the branch where the copula took place. But I cannot always have everything.
