Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.

Music is life and there is some music which is meant to take you to places beyond your imagination. The power of music is undoubtedly beautiful and works miracles to the heart of every listener. And, music has worked more than miracles in my life.

There are different styles of music in our world and they are there to rescue one's mood, uplift one's mood and other times fit one's mood. And, you can't do without not loving the music world. It is like the air we breathe. It is necessary just like nitrogen in our air.

When it comes to music, the world is changing so fast with new styles of music released each day. The norms which the post-medieval and medieval people believed as style of music is now outdated which is sad because when you listen to those music, you'd get to know they are evergreen. But, let's leave that for the Gen z people to wallow on.

The new style of music released in this era isn't my favorite as listening to them makes my ear itch, especially some Nigerian music. It is sad to see how beat has taken over the music industry. You would see a musician proudly singing what I term nonsense or better still the usage of vulgar words to pass their message with an awesome beat attached to it. And, people dance wildly to these songs but, I would rather stay without music than listen to those music.

Gone are the good ol' days that listening to music will make you sit and think about your life. The music heard then is motivational, will take you on a journey toward self-reflection, educating you on different aspects in life, and more. They are music you feel loved when listening to and makes you crave and work towards living a gracious life. And, these music are what I fill my heart with every time I open my music app.

Although, there are some artists in this era whose music are nicely made with good lyrics but they don't have much listeners unlike the very loud unnecessary ones. I respect people's choice of music though I don't enjoy them and that's low life anyways.

This is why I have been trying to use Nigerian ol' songs as ttt every Tuesday and I am sure if you are in the Gen z era and have a rich taste in music, you will surely go with these songs too.
And, the 3-tuner I have been using for the past 2 weeks is African China. I am sure some of you would have heard his music and if you haven't, you can check him out and I assure you that you will be blown away in the right direction. Also, get yourself ready for loads of pidgin reggae as you listen.

In a nutshell, I believe the type of music in this era is not one I will venture into. I do prefer music that will stay evergreen and will give the correct vibe not the unnecessary words and beats this era uses to have fun.

This is my response to the Hivenaija prompt.
