one thing i have learned since being a teen is that there is no perfect economy anywhere in the world, even the most powerful nation in the world still experiences setbacks in thier economy.
yes the world is evolving fast’ maybe faster than we anticipated but everybody has a role to play so that we don’t get to the other side too soon,
because the ship of civilization is sailing at an ever growing speed’ sometimes i ask and wonder how we got here as a nation, everyone can mention one or two flaws in thier countries ruling system, the people who are supposed to be leading us are exploiting us.
i often say no one is perfect but how perfect can you be when all you stand for is been taken for granted, in society now, elders are not respected enough,youths are not given a voice because they are been shunned.
its really hard to pin-point one single thing you would want to change about the world.
many would say I would love to change the president or the senators maybe the police men or the state governors, in my country nigeria many of us are very religious, not that it’s a bad thing and who am i to judge but we only cover our corruption under the umbrella of religion.
if i have the power to change something about the world it would be the values that parents set in the family.
I’m a strong believer that the growth of society solely depends on each individual because a tree cannot make a forest, everybody has a role to play for the world to be better and it all starts from the family.
the society would be better if every families were better, every president,governor or senator all got most of thier values growing up and the people around them help influence those values maybe good or bad.
having a family does not only mean your blood relatives, anybody staying around you is your family because they directly or indirectly influence your values, if everyone can invest in the business of changing themselves for the better then you would be amazed at how the world would heal so fast.
the people are looking for a new messiah, someone who would in one sweep wash away thier problems, a sudden change or a magic, but nobody ever thinks of changing himself/herself.
the business of change cannot be effective if done alone, its a collective business, changing the world requires changing yourself’ and you can’t change the world if you can’t change yourself and influence people around you.
the world is a big place to touch all at once but your impact can be felt if you learn and act accordingly without yielding to society pressure or peer pressure, everyman is for himself but not by himself, the world would never forget two people a man who turn a nation into forest through wrong values an unproductive thinking and a man who turns a forest into a nation through right values and productive thinking.
