Steem. Coming together.
Alright folks, I hope you are proud of yourselves! By coming together across our many communities, cliques, tribes, families, and circle-jerks, we've manage to displace quite a few of @JustinSunSteemit's sock-puppet witnesses. At the moment we hold 1-9, 11, and 15, out of the top 20 witness slots.
It has been great seeing the community come out for what @Aggroed called Operation Liberation, answering @TheyCallMeDan's call to action, and generally just stepping up and getting involved at record levels.
To get all caught up, I would recommend reading watching a few things:

Call To Witnesses
Please come to some kind of unified front around which version number "we" are putting forward opposite JSTron's 0.22.5, as the current board is a mess. As @TimCliff pointed out, using 0.22.4444 is not a great idea due to the word it sounds close to in Mandarin, and the cultural ideas around 4 having bad luck, much less four 4s.
I think it would do the community a LOT of good if the community's top witnesses were putting forward the same thing, even in something as simple and not-really-representative-of anything as running the same version number.

Call To Steemians!
As I mentioned (and pictured) above, we currently hold 11 out of the top 20 witnesses. The thing is, everyone gets 30 witness votes (part of our problem really), but that means that a TON of people must be voting for some of the community witnesses, but not the rest.
I would ask each of you to take a moment to either proxy your witness vote to someone you trust, who stays abreast of Steem Governance, or go make sure you're using your votes on the top witnesses not running 0.22.5. Below is an image of our top witnesses, who aren't yet in the top 20. If we could recover full consensus and ditch SteemitTron's 0.22.5 that would be great, because we don't even know what they put into it.
This is a system where your vote actually counts, there are far more options than most people will ever choose to explore, and when you no longer support/agree with what a witness is doing, you simply remove your vote. Real time (+3 second block time of course.) The important thing for the system to work is that people need to actually get out there and vote!

Justin's Tantrum
You may or may not have heard, but JS sent the Steem community a list of demands questions for the witnesses. Apparently if you answer them right, he'll vote you to a top 20 slot...
The post from @JustinSunSteemit was edited shortly after posting, but of course people got screenshots. Here's the original, and here's what he edited it to look like, below is a screencap of the original post.

The Most Recent News
2 hours before my post is going live, @SteemitBlog posted that Justin Sun would be doing a town hall at 6pm Pacific, just 4 hours away, and 3 hours earlier than he/they had originally stated back on February 28th.
If you can make it, I'd definitely recommend catching it: https://tron.zoom.us/j/721328583, should be entertaining if nothing else.
