The main draft choices by Ireland's information protection controller on tests into a portion of the world's greatest innovation firms will go for interview with other EU controllers this year, the lead guard dog for the alliance said on Thursday.

Ireland has the European central station of various U.S. innovation firms, making Ireland's Data Protection Commission (DPC) the EU's lead controller under the General Data Protection Regulation's (GDPR) "One Stop Shop" system presented in 2018.

The new standards enable controllers to force fines for infringement of up to 4% of an organization's worldwide income or 20 million euros ($22 million), whichever is higher.
