Hello everyone, we are here again with the latest weekly contest by @queercoin with the prompt:
Appreciation - What do you appreciate/like about yourself?
When I look at this week's prompt, it reminds me of a popular saying by my people about a lizard which fell down from a tree, looked left and right and nobody praised it for the giant feat, the lizard then nodded severally in appreciation of itself having fallen down from a great height without any scratches, !LOL.
Having said that, there are certain qualities that I posses which when I look at them I simply appreciate myself. It is a long list anyway but I'll abridge and highlight some of them hereunder:
- Ability to Love
I really love myself and also love others too. Whitney Houston in one of her songs sang that "the greatest love of all is to love yourself". That way, you will ave the self confidence to fave life and then appreciate whatever you do. This will also entail that you love others as well.
- My personality
There is no gainsaying that I also love my personality. This is true because nobody in the whole wide world has my unique personality. It is unique and exclusive to my person. A charming and graceful personality which most people even crave to possess.
- My creativity
This is also a unique personality of mine. I am a creative person, turning where most people see nothing into viable opportunities to tht admiration of all. This has been a unique quality which has been seeing me through. It is a God's gift to me and I am most grateful to him for that.
- My sense of humour.
Aha! There is never a full moment wherever I am. I try to stir up people who tend to be moody and downcast with occasional humour which in the long run lifts their spirit and gives them a reason to cheer up and move on with life. A sort of a soothing therapy indeed.
- My laughter and shinning teeth.
I tend to have a charming laughter which most times reveal my shinning white teeth. Sit is therapeutic really.
The list goes on and on but really I have to end it here for now. I do hope we'll have another time to share more. For now, I say Cheerio!!!
