This morning at 6:00 AM, I got up and made milk for my youngest daughter to drink. After that, I went out to do some housework and sat and drank coffee for a while. Today, no one in the house has woken up because it is still morning and it is Saturday. Today is September 30th, which is the last day of the month and my youngest daughter's birthday. I had planned to take the children today to make merit at a shrine near the village.

At nearly 7:30 AM the children woke up after washing their faces and brushing their teeth. They all went downstairs to eat breakfast. This morning I cooked a simple meal for the children to eat before we went out to the shrine. Boiled instant noodles, which is a simple dish, but I added vegetables, eggs, and meat to get all the nutrients. Soon the children ate until they were full and then we sat and watched cartoons in the living room until 9:00 a.m. when we all went to prepare to go to the shrine.

This shrine took us about 15 minutes to reach and we have been here many times but we ate on the side of this shrine. It's not often that I come to pay respects or make merit because on important days or festivals we come to worship at the shrine. Today there were still many lanterns decorated on the side because yesterday was the Mid-Autumn Festival. Today the shrine didn't look lively, even the restaurants on the side of the shrine. We walked up to the shrine to worship the gods and ask for good fortune for ourselves.

This shrine is very large and beautiful. The inside is made of marble carved into the shape of a dragon. Everything in this shrine has been meticulously crafted. The beauty inside and the grandeur look very stunning. This shrine is also a popular place for tourists to come to pay respects during various festivals.

After my husband had offered the candles and incense, he took his daughter to light candles and incense and bring them to worship and ask for blessings in front of the gods. There was also the Siamese toss where we got a number and picked up a piece of paper that had a prediction but we didn't read it right away. We also walked around the various points of the shrine and when everything was finished it was time to take the children to the next location. And this is a picture of the shrine that I intend to share with friends today. I hope everyone will like it.

My children were happy to make merit at this shrine. They smiled brightly and considered it a good day for our family. And this is 1 activity that we did together today. Thank you friends for coming to follow and support me. See you again in the next post. For today I have to say goodbye, goodbye everyone.
