I have no doubt that we can all use some more mindfulness these days, to deal with the news, both on here and worldwide.
If more of us would meditate*, think before we talk, not just lash out and vent our anger and frustration. If we would learn to take a breather first and not just let our EGO speak, the world would be a much healthier place to be in.
Then again, I am aware that contrast is needed and that it will always be there, that everything can be taken as a lesson. We need to experience what we don't want, to know better what we do want.
I listened to a 9 minute meditation this morning
It can be found here MeditationMinis.com among other places.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, angry, scared or perhaps just curious, I suggest you click the above link, scroll down a little bit and play the latest episode of meditation minis titled:
"Breaking the Boulders of Negativity and Stress"
I'm listening to it once again, right now as I can use some more peace and calm myself and I'm liking the metaphor of breaking boulders of negativity, letting go of them.
Anyhow, I wanted to keep this a short post and wish for things to calm down soon, for the dust to settle. It might be Winter but I'm getting tired of people throwing snowballs - or should I say ice balls? - at each other, showing their worst side and doing and saying things they will regret later.

*I once read or heard someone say that if all kids ( of about 7 years old ) would learn to meditate, world peace would be there in one generation time. It sure is an interesting thought to ponder.
Mindful Life is a space within Natural Medicine whose aims are to unite meditators across the Steem blockchain so that we can share and strengthen our own practices. We aim to provide a space to discuss the philosophy, science and practical application of such practices in our lives, to inspire and motivate each other, and to provide support if we might be struggling, connecting with like minded people who might offer solutions.
P.S. If you're craving for more mindfulness, more Zen and you're interested in trying your hands on a group meditation, hosted by @bewithbreath , make sure to read the following post:
