Are you fond of eating Sizzling foods? A single dish meal with rice and viand, may it be meat or vegetable, with a sauce or gravy served on a hot metal plate is something that I crave this past few days. It is just so perfect for me who prefer her food being served warm. Besides, who doesn't want her food served warm and appetizing right?
Sizzling Kawali by Cafe Feliza is a place to visit if you are like me who loves sizzlers. They serve different delicious sizzling foods that are served in a unique way rather than a usual sizzling pan. "Kawali" is a local term for a pan in my country. It is round in shape that has a handle and usually used to fry foods. The owner of this restaurant is just very creative to use "kawali" as their sizzling pan. Nevertheless, it is indeed a success for him because the market bought and loved his idea.
As a sizzler lover, I didn't waste a time to visit Sizzling Kawali by Cafe Feliza to have a taste of their mouthwatering foods. I went there with my friends because I believe that nothing taste batter than a good food shared with good company. Who wouldn't want to enjoy her meal with a good conversation with friends?
The first thing that we had noticed when we get there is the calming ambiance of the place. It was like the place was really asking you to have a sit and order meals they offer. We were really amazed of how the place was designed. It is an open air restaurant which is good because its giving a fresh and calming vibe of country side.
As we sat down and had a hand of their menu, we got confused on what to order because it seems like everything on their menu are a "must try". The star of their menu are the sizzlers. They have sizzling fried chicken, burger steak, hungarian sausage, beef tapa, daing na bangus (fried fish), Chicken and Pork Liver Adobo and many more. They also have short orders of pasta like spaghetti, carbonara, and pancit canton. But what really caught my eyes was my favorite buffalo wings and pork tongkatsu. I have no idea that those two could be a sizzlers too, served in a hot pan (kawali). So without hesitation, those two were the meals that I ordered.
Being a Filipino who loves rice so much, we couldn't be happier when we knew that their meal is unli-rice and unli-soup. And who could've thought that that one meal, already an unli-rice and unli-soup, only costs 99 pesos? (2 dollars) It is very affordable for its heavenly taste. In fact, it is hard to find restaurant that offers quality and very affordable food nowadays. That is why my friends and I are very happy and lucky to find this place and experienced a must try meals.
That's all for today. See you again for a fun and mouthwatering food experience.
Gracias!
