Cinetv Contest: Your Most Favorite Romantic Film

Greetings!

Before we go on to the next contest, we're sure you have questions! What happened to the last contest? Where are the results?

Worry not, we'll get to that soon. But before that, we want to express our gratitude to all cine-folks who took part in the contest. We had over 40 submissions but regrettably, we can only pick 3 as said beforehand. Hence, only a small portion of the total entries can be selected. If you are one of the winners, congrats! We loved your entry!

If you're not that doesn't mean it was not worthy, as these things can be very subjective. Be assured, we did not entirely leave the evaluation to one single person, rather a collective. And just because you did not win this one does not mean you won't in the future! Since we are making this a weekly feature, please join in the upcoming ones.
Of course, film discussion and generally having fun are our primary goals anyway!

Enough chit-chat! Give us the results already!

Aye, here are the winners of the last contest "Movies that rocked your childhood".

Congrats! Great entries!

650 CINE COINS will be transferred to the winners.

And let's move on to the new contest!

Contest 2: Your most favorite romantic film!

I bet you saw that coming, haven't you? With Valentine's day passing us by, this is a perfect time to have a jolly chat about the romantic films that touched your heart the most. Romance is a classic genre, no matter how many iterations of love and the romantic relationship we have seen onscreen, when something new comes along, we find it refreshing. Perhaps because unlike war, action, and other genres that do not usually have elements from real life we are all used to, romance has something we all have and we know it intimately. And when on-screen depictions deviate from our expectations, we find novelty in them. This is merely a conjecture but perhaps it stands.

Over the eons, throughout multiple millennia countless poets, artists, painters, authors, filmmakers made their craft centered around relationships. It has never gone out of fashion and it never will, as long as we retain our humanity.

Even those who act tough will melt by the tender affection forwarded to their way. Let us rejoice in love then, today, as valentine's day pass!

Write about the romantic film(s) you loved the most, you cherish in your heart and you likely will!
