One of the first franchises that I saw in my life and that I remember the most was "X-Men"; I believed during my childhood watching them as an animated series on television and then they became a movie with real characters, a change for me was quite significant because they went from being cartoons to flesh and blood superheroes (although I already knew they weren't real).

Una de las primeras franquicias que vi en mi vida y que más recuerdo fue la de "X-Men"; creí durante mi niñez viéndolos como una serie animada en televisión y luego pasaron a ser una película con personales reales, un cambio para para mi fue bastante significativo porque pasaron de ser a dibujos animados a súper héroes de carne y hueso (aunque ya sabía que no eran reales).

I watched all the movies of the first generation, they were tremendously good movies, my favorites, I used to watch them every time they were broadcast on TV but over time I stopped watching them and the franchise gradually lost relevance, but still I considered them pretty good.

Vi todas las películas de la primera generación, fueron películas tremendamente buenas, mis favoritas, solía verlas cada vez que eran transmitidas en televisión pero con el tiempo dejé de verlas y la franquicia poco a poco fue perdiendo relevancia, pero aún así las consideraba bastante buenas.

Knowing that after having been with the same cast for almost 10 years, they decided to give a twist to the story that many (including me) believed was already dead, they decided to come out with the "X-MEN" reboot, with a completely new cast, a story from its origins but with something new, something that the previous story did not have.

Al saber que luego de haber estado por casi 10 años con el mismo cast, decidieron darle un giro a la historia que muchos (incluyéndome) creían que ya estaba muerta, decidieron salir con el reboot de "X-MEN", con un cast completamente nuevo, una historia desde sus orígenes pero con algo nuevo, algo que no tenía la historia anterior.

What I liked about this reboot I think was the story, they tackled a part of the beginning of the "X-MEN" that hadn't been done before, not the way they did in "X-MEN; First Class" and that was a point in favor to attract the attention of those of us who had already seen the first films of the franchise.

Lo que me gustó de este reboot creo que fue la historia, abordaron una parte del principio de los "X-MEN" que no se había hecho antes, no de esta forma en la que lo hicieron en "X-MEN; First Class" y eso fue un punto a favor para llamar la atención de los que ya habíamos visto las primeras películas de la franquicia.

Maybe what I liked was the participation of Jennifer Lawrence, it was kind of lazy, very simple and I think that the role of Mystic could have been played by someone else, but although the result was not as bad as I thought it would be, it's not something that makes me hate her or the movie.

Tal vez lo que me gustó fue la participación de Jennifer Lawrence, fue como floja, muy simple y creo que el papel de Mystic pudo haber sido interpretado por alguien más, pero aunque el resultado no fue tan malo como pensaba que sería, no es algo que me haga detestarla a ella o a la película.

I think near the end of the movie, the scene where Magento has a chance to meet Sebastian Shaw and he does it in such an unexpected way, even what happens afterwards is a real surprise or at least to me. it was. That whole scene in particular I think made the movie worthwhile for me.

Creo que casi al final de la película, la escena en la que Magento tiene la posibilidad de encontrarse con Sebastian Shaw y lo hace de una forma tan inesperada, incluso lo que ocurre después es una verdadera sorpresa o al menos para mi lo fue. Toda esa escena en particular creo que hizo que la película valiera la pena para mi.

It is impossible not to highlight the acting work that James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender did throughout the film and then for all the films that followed it. Both gave life to two characters that we only knew in their adult versions and who had already experienced a separation for reasons that were not always clear; They managed to take us to a time in the lives of these characters in which we could see the other side of their story as a duo and that as actors in the film was a success.

Es imposible no resaltar el trabajo actoral que James McAvoy y Michael Fassbender hicieron durante toda la película y luego por todas las películas que le siguieron a ésta. Ambos dieron vida a dos personajes que solo conocíamos en sus versiones adultas y que ya habían vivido una separación por motivos que no siempre estaban claros; lograron llevarnos a un tiempo en las vidas de estos personajes en los que pudimos ver el otro lado de su historia como dúo y eso como actores dentro de la película fue un acierto.

Fue un film que nos presentó personajes nuevos, personajes que no tuvieron mucha participación dentro de la historia y otros que si la tuvieron, eso hizo al film aún más interesante. Nos adentraron en el inicio de la creación de el instituto para mutantes, sus primeros alumnos, los riesgos de haber sido los primeros en separarse de aquellos mutantes que solo buscaban dominar el mundo y acabar con la raza humana.

In this reboot, although there was the use of special effects on a large scale, I think it was the story that ended up being the true protagonist. She revived, in a way, a franchise that seemed to have given everything it could give in only 5 films, but this new production was able to take even more advantage of the history of mutants and gave us more history and more action.

En este reboot, aunque si existió el uso de efectos especiales a gran escala, creo que fue la historia la que terminó siendo la verdadera protagonista. Revivió, en cierto modo, una franquicia que parecía que había dado todo lo que podía dar en solo 5 films, pero esta nueva producción, pudo aprovechar aún más la historia de los mutantes y nos dieron más historia y más acción.
