Shapp's account differs from another version offered by sources to The Guardian indicating the lost Challenger 2 had hit a mine which detonated rear fuel stores on the vehicle. In this account, the tank was then hit by a Lancet-3 kamikaze drone. Both sides frequently employ drones to finish off immobilized vehicles before they can be recovered.

These sources now claim the crew survived a mine, which detonated the REAR of the tank. Then the Turret Detachment was because of the lancet strike (lancet 3, very specific). That explains why the tank was filmed blowing the fuck out by a Kornet ATGM. No doubt that the cope will prevail and this propaganda rag won't correct their nonsensical and clearly false claims.
