My impressions let us start with the Moderator.**
If this person claims that they are impartial I think that they are a hypocrite because this was the most biased debate that I have ever seen and it was straight out attempt at power from the beginning with this cryptic statement about enforcing control. Which proved itself to be a hilarious hypocrisy right off the bat when she could not maintain any kind of control over this debate and would try to set up attacks on one party while encouraging the Challenger to dominate The sitting vice president.
Harris
Consistently underscored they wouldn't ban fracking which basically is saying that they are big oil candidates. They absolutely wouldn't ban fracking and they would just raise the taxes on the rich.
Petty and spiteful with demeaning comments always challenging and undermining which she got called on quite a bit.
Honestly it was more like watching a rich snotty lawyer explain how their size of the settlement was going to be more than you were getting.
Condescending and with that sickening sweet attempt at manipulation and working at playing the emotional heartstrings.
Fielding clearly biased setup questions that ended up fizzling under examination of the real facts.
The interruptions and disrespect happened relatively quickly. Which I was pretty surprised at considering all of the comments about how they weren't going to be doing actions like that. However the determination to lock on to perceived weaknesses really underlined how desperate this debate really felt from the Democratic side.
It really surprised me because as biased as this really was it ended up being very clear on how things were going to continue and really set the tone quickly.
Or repeat insistence on the green New deal and how it was going to be such an amazing investment in the future and America however other than shady references to renewable energy sources and how magically these would create massive amounts of jobs. Personally it was more of this huge pie in the sky type of promise with very little substance or plan put in place other than repeated attempts at passing off quite the scam to get into office
Now the green New deal and especially the part about cow fart emissions really makes me laugh. I mean the scientists involved in providing all of the so-called climate change data don't seem like they could have passed high School science class to me. Personally I don't see these made up facts making the sense that they claim that it does.
Let alone the idea that we are going to ban internal combustion engines as well as this huge change in technology that is forced instead of encouraged shows me how short-sighted this goal is. Which would fall under fascism. Using the government to force change. Close to communism it uses the state to force changes.
Which wiki just showed me interesting angle to this and their bias... That's for another time...
Vice President Pence
Well this is pretty much the first time I've heard him speak honestly and it was actually quite a surprise hearing the eloquence and facts which would get very boring quickly. Honestly the beat down factually and breaking down how things would go the calm relaxed approach at managing and countering the argument being presented showed quite an impressive leadership display.
Brushing off disrespect multiple times seemed effortless as well as expected the calm easy demeanor encountering the hostility was frankly pretty interesting to watch an action for me.
I wasn't able to catch absolutely every minute of this like I was hoping to however what I did see was pretty one-sided for a factual debate beat down. So in my opinion this would be a resounding win for the second debate now.
Personally I was really surprised at how this entire debate proceeded and ended up turning into.
We also are looking at Hillary Clinton having Russia gate and her email scandal completely declassified without redaction. Which is going to again be a large blow to the Democratic party.
With the numbers standing at 11% for Biden and then we've got the libertarian candidate measuring in at 33% and I do believe the pole had president Trump in the lead with 49% and a little bit of margin of error.
However to me that is the biggest thing we should have had all three candidates at these debates if they were truly as unbiased as they claimed.
Because in reality the Democratic party has imploded in on itself and even the American people can see that the libertarian party candidate is a way better choice than Biden Harris 2020.
My final takeaway from this situation is that both of them are definitely not right however certainly they both are wrong. I foresee more hostility threats and escalation of violence during this next election cycle which is not something that I hoped to see.
This was a complete privacy and a joke as far as I am concerned and I really wish that I had even wasted my time watching this debate.
I would rather go spend some time in nature than waste overly much time on politics
