I have always liked tattoos, my first tattoo I got when I was 16 years old and today I have 5, among which we find: a heart, a greca, seagulls, my favorite Taylor Swift album and the one I'm going to refer to today, which is a word. I also want to add that I love that a community of this kind has been created in Hive, because the tattoo world is huge, you can cover many topics and I think that behind every tattoo there is always a story or very significant or even quite silly, such as: tattooing for losing a bet.

This word, I consider to be my tattoo with more importance and the one I have more affection for, because it is the nickname of my grandmother, who was called Dolores and who everyone knew by "Lola". I got it done in December 2016 and it is located on my left wrist, I chose this place because I am left-handed and I wanted the tattoo to be in a place where I would basically always see it. Another thing that I also chose a little "different" is that the tattoo is not made to be read by others, that is, in the direction of the hands, but from the hands towards my arm because I wanted it to be oriented towards my reading field.

I decided to get this tattoo to materialize the permanent bond I have with my grandmother, it may sound a little strange but even though I did not know her, as I was the only one of her grandchildren who did not because she died two years before I was born, I have always felt that she accompanies me. Also because I wanted to have "something" to share with her, all my cousins talked about anecdotes with her and the truth was a little envious of not having that "something" because she was an incredible person.

The tattoo even though it has faded and its lines have thickened a little, it is quite well preserved for being practically always exposed to sunlight and being 7 years old. Here I show you a before and after:

Desde siempre me han gustado mucho los tatuajes, mi primer tatuaje me lo hice a los 16 años y al día de hoy ya cuento con 5, dentro de los que encontramos: un corazón, una greca, gaviotas, mi álbum favorito de Taylor Swift y al que me voy a referir el dia de hoy, que es una palabra. También quiero agregar que me encanta que se haya creado una comunidad de esta clase en Hive, ya que el mundo de tatuaje es enorme, se pueden abarcar muchos temas y pienso que detrás de cada tatuaje siempre hay una historia o muy significativa o incluso bastante tonta, como por ejemplo: tatuarse por perder una apuesta.

Esta palabra, considero que es mi tatuaje con más importancia y al que le tengo más cariño, porque se trata del sobrenombre de mi abuela, quien se llamaba Dolores y a quien todos conocían por "Lola". Me lo hice en diciembre de 2016 y está situado en mi muñeca izquierda, elegí este sitio porque soy zurda y quería que el tatuaje estuviera en un sitio donde lo viera básicamente siempre. Otra cosa que también elegí un poco "diferente" es que el tatuaje no está hecho para que lo lean los demás, es decir, en dirección a las manos, sino de las manos hacia mi brazo porque quería que estuviera orientado hacia mi campo de lectura.

Decidí hacerme este tatuaje para materializar el vínculo permanente con tengo con mi abuela, podrá sonar un poco extraño pero a pesar de que yo no la conocí, pues fui la única de sus nietos que no lo hizo porque ella murió dos años antes de yo nacer, siempre he sentido que me acompaña. También porque quería tener "algo" que compartir con ella, todos mis primos hablaban de anécdotas con ella y la verdad me daba un poco de envidia no tener ese "algo" ya que ella era una persona increíble.

El tatuaje a pesar de que se ha decolorado y sus líneas se han engrosado un poco, se conserva bastante bien para estar prácticamente siempre expuesto a la luz solar siempre y tener 7 años. Aquí les muestro un antes y después:
