Splinterlands share your battle - Disintegrator
Demoralize & Destroy

Disintegrator is one of my favorite cards. He has the Demoralize ability at level one and is neutral so he can be used with any splinter. I use a level three Disintegrator that pairs well with level two summoners. If you are expecting a heavy dose of melee attack coming your way, he is a great option.

Battle Options
Disintegrator can be a great asset, but without the ability to attack from the back line it can be difficult to determine where best to place him. His three armor lends him well as a rear tank. Another strong option is to use him with the Super Sneak ruleset. Not only is it likely the opponent will use melee attack, but Disintegrator can then attack from any position. Paired with Tarsa or a monster with Inspire, such as Demented Shark, is a great double whammy.

Up Close & Personal

The first battle was melee only and both my opponent and I had the same idea to use Disintegrator to reduce the damage from every card choice. We both also choose Kelya for the added armor and speed. I had the added benefit of a level two Keyla and a pairing of Demented Shark which left my opponent with no chance for victory. Four armor wasn't enough for Disintegrator to stand tall as a rear tank the entire battle, however he stood up long enough for my other damage dealers to insure victory. Demoralize, paired with Inspire and using Disintegrator as a rear tank is a formidable team.
Super Sneak

I had less mana available for this battle, however the Super Sneak ruleset meant I could place Demented Shark and Disintegrator in the middle of the pack and still allow them to attack each round. I have to admit I was surprised to see my opponent select General Sloan, Once I took out Shieldbearer I was able to quickly tear through the soft back line.
Wrap Up
Disintegrator is a great card even at level one. At level three he gains an extra health and armor which lessens one of his weaknesses, where to place him in the lineup. With the extra armor and health he can make a great tank or rear tank. He might not last the whole battle, but the demoralize should help decrease the damage your team takes for at least a couple of rounds. This tactic clearly works best when you expect your opponent to use at least one heavy melee damage card.
