There are people who gets thrilled by the idea of being outdoor and doing activities that require their skills and critical thinking. Sometimes it might be challenging and tiring to be out, but the adrenaline and excitement never fail to make us satisfied as people who love outdoor funs. And as mentioned on our introduction blog, we like activities such as fishing. So, here's a new blog to our outdoor adventure.
There is a flowing river near us, and during the rainy season, people would come and go fishing. Since we always wanted to keep up with the hype, we prepared our fishing rods and the bait before we headed to the nearest fishing spot. It took us only a few walks away from home, and the sight of the green grass and trees were mesmerizing to the eyes.
We were with our nephew who is only 8 years of age, yet he also fell in love with the idea of fishing. When we mentioned our plan of going to the river, he immediately prepared his own fishing rod too.

When we got there, there are also other people fishing in different spots. We settled down somewhere that we think might be a good location for this outdoor activity. Then, we grabbed the fishing rods and put the bait. We used earthworms as baits, and started looking where to throw them off. My nephew also prepared his fishing rod, but we had to help him in putting the bait since he was quite afraid of worms.

The adventure begins when we already threw off the fishing rods and waited for the fish to take on the baits we prepared. Fishing requires patience since you have to wait for the fish to eat the bait, and try your luck in grabbing them right away.
We enjoyed the moment, especially when we caught one but we had to let it go since it's still quite small. The cycle in waiting went on, and we had to be patient if we want to go home with some catch. Our nephew seems to enjoy the activity since we also gave him the chance to do the fishing alone. And he was so happy when he got to catch one.
We did not get the chance to capture the fihes we caught, but there's a few of them. Actually, we caught plenty of fish but we let go of the others since their sizes were too small to get eaten. Our goal was to enjoy the outdoor adventure, even though it took us hours and only went home with just a few catch. We were actually not after the number of fish we'll get, but the moment we shared in this outdoor activity. We achieved the thrill and excitement in fishing!
