Hi guys.... I went shopping today on the Splinterlands market, I had a few DEC that was enough to get me 5 packs and I thought err...why not! I actually wish to be able to buy 5 packs every other weekend, not sure how I'll pull that off but it's sure in my plans, weekend card shopping, maybe I'd even twist it up a bit and add a contest along with it, should be nice eh!
So I hopped into the Splinterlands shop, first, I bought a couple of Legendary potion, I bought enough to open the number of cards I planned to buy just to increase my chances of getting a Legendary card, I like Legendary cards, I mean, who doesn't, its even sweeter when the Legendary is a gold.
I don't own any Legendary golds by the way, you know what people say about all that glitter not being gold, it is totally opposite on Splinterlands, if it glitters and it is a Legendary, it sure is "gold" baby! with emphasis on Legendary.
The cheapest Legendary gold is cost 37$ right now, with the highest at around 160$ from Untamed version of cards alone, from the Alpha versions, the most expensive gold Legendary is currently worth over $5k, amazing isn't it, if you're doubting me, head into the Splinterlands market and check it out yourself, I'm patiently waiting for the day one of them will fall into my hands.
So let's see what I pulled off from my packs, with my fingers and toes crossed and my breath in my palms, I clicked open the cards and got these...

- 2nd Favorite Pull - Darkest Mage
I love magic monsters lol, except when I'm unfortunate to be met with a reflector in battle. I also like cards with very low mana, hence my reason for selecting those as my favorite in the pack.

- Second favorite pull - Failed summoner
- Snare(meaning it nullifies the flying ability of its target if the target has the fly ability)
- It also has the ability to pierce through targets armour and damage targets health.
- It has the ability to shatter targets armour
- Lastly it has a ranged attack of 4 at level 1 and ranged attack of 6 at its highest levels.
Pretty handy card if you'd ask me.

- Favorite pull - Gold foil Goblin Fireballer
- 2nd Favorite pull - Khmer Princess
Uhmm if you've been paying attention then you'll know I like shiny cards, especially when its legendary, though this one isn't even a legendary, its still a pass :D...then I like Khmer Princess because its magic and with a low mana.

- Favorite pull - Living Lava
- 2nd favorite pull - Horny Toad
Living Lava is one of the most interesting cards in battle, it has the ability to reduce melee and ranged attacks at its lowest level, it also has 6 life and 2 shields with a mana of 7.
- Reduce armour of all enemy monsters
- The most interesting ability it has is the Thorn ability, so any enemy card that touches gets damaged lol. Touch me not!!!
Then I like Horny toad...because its...Horny toad loool...I think one of my ex's has called me that before lol, who names a card Horny toad?! How can anyone not love it?! Lol!

- Favorite pull - Minataur Warlord
After I opened the 4th pack and my Legendary potion hadn't given me any legendary cards I was about to shed a tear, then I opened the last pack and voila!!!! A super duper kick ass Legendary monster pops out!
A round of applauds for the latest addition to my Legendary monster stash yes! This card is super kick ass even at its first level. It is a reflector from the Earth splinter, it has a melee damage of 4, 10 life and at a mana of 8, which is quite fair considering that it is such a lethal Legendary.
It even gets more interesting at its highest levels which it only takes 11 of it to be combined to be reached. As seen from the image above, it has the ability to blast and return a reduced ranged attacks, quite kick ass yeah!
Going shopping today wasn't so bad, I'm excitedly looking forward to the next time, hopefully I'd pull out my Legendary gold in the next session. Have you gotten any Legendary golds? What's your best Legendary card? Do you think my pulls today were nice? Kindly share in the comment section.
