Sending My Bestie Off at the Airport... <3

Exactly a week ago, I had to send off my bestie at the airport. She stayed in the Philippines for only a couple of weeks, but I had a fantastic time with her as always. Being with your loved ones in person really feels different in an amazing way!

Although we only spent some days together, it was more than enough to make me happy. Thanks bestie!!!

Her flight that time wasn't until 2AM the next day. However, the weather wasn't very friendly that day so she decided to just go to the airport early and stay at the airport hotel for a bit.

I guess it was a great decision because the traffic was already kind of crazy on our way to the airport.

We went to the domestic area first because this is where we can find a lot of restaurants or cafe. And as expected of my bestie, she wanted us to have Jollibee one more time. haha

Just look at that happy face. This time, we were waiting for an empty table because it was almost around lunch time when we arrived. Luckily, we found one and had our lunch and talked more.

Her aunt and I sent her off that day. Her aunt is also very kind and fun to hangout with. I've met her in the past and was even invited in her house that one time there was a celebration. I was with bestie then and I'm also quite close to one of her cousins. :)

After lunch and more chatting, we headed to the hotel which was situated in the International airport. My bestie checked in, so she could store her bag and luggage, then we went upstairs to see the view. We wanted to get inside the airport, but I guess only those with tickets can enter, so we stayed outside. :)

The airport was so clean and beautiful. I like what they did with the glass walls. It's so colorful and artistic.

We just spent a few more minutes taking photos and stuff before auntie and I went home. My bestie needed to rest before her flight, so she went back to her room and I headed home with auntie.

It was really fun spending time with my bestie. Can't wait to see her again soon. Now, we're back to the usual virtual connection, but I'm thankful enough for that. :)

That's it for this post. Thanks for checking and I'll see you next time! (^^,)/
