These photos were taken in Jordan. Det place is Petra, an ancient desert town, carved into the mountains. But to get to the there you have to go through a deep gorge called «the Siq" .You walk in almost darkness at times for a couple of kilometers before you see the pink facade at the end. The gorge has been used as a backdrop in the movie "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade".
