"Canción Animal" es una canción de la banda de rock argentina Soda Stereo de su álbum Canción Animal del año 1990. Para muchos es la banda más representativa del rock en Latino América, y para mí, además de eso, es una genialidad que expone la psicodelia y poesía de la mente maestra de su fallecido líder Gustavo Cerati. Nunca me cansaré de escuchar a esta banda y a este artista.
"Canción Animal" es un tema que habla de la relación íntima de hombre y mujer, dejando a un lado los sentimientos amorosos ni afinidades impuestas por la sociedad. Para finales de los 80's cuando se estaba cocinando este álbum, Gustavo Cerati mantenía una relación con una mujer que lo envolvió y fue inspiración para esta canción. En palabras de esta misma mujer, Paola Antonucci, la letra describía lo que sucedía entre ella y el artista.
Poéticamente, hablar de esta canción es hablar de sexo, sin más detalles.

"Canción Animal" is a song by the Argentine rock band Soda Stereo from their album Canción Animal from 1990. For many it is the most representative rock band in Latin America, and for me , in addition to that, it is a genius that exposes the psychedelia and poetry of the mastermind of its late leader Gustavo Cerati. I will never get tired of listening to this band and this artist.
"Canción Animal" is a song that talks about the intimate relationship of man and woman, leaving aside the feelings of love or affinities imposed by society. By the end of the 80's when this album was being prepared, Gustavo Cerati had a relationship with a woman that involved him and was the inspiration for this song. In the words of this same woman, Paola Antonucci, the lyrics described what was happening between her and the artist.
