This is the church in dalaguet it was made of stone .It is durable that it lasted for how many decades that still now is being used for a generation to generation.
Behind of the bonsai plant was a convent were the priest resides.This structures built in a spanish era until now currently used in a new generation.
The Filipinos built this monument to commemorate their Patron Saint San Guillermo .

This place also has benches were people used to chillin talking with family and friends and many more.During night time many people will come here to unwind eat with family and friends and many other recreational activities.
A fortress is located behind the cannon that is now widely called kiosk and now being used as a comercial building.
Acacia tree located nearby to give shade to the people. The one i touched is a hibiscus flower.
This is also a fountains but this is currently under maintenance.
This place is actually a reclamation area.The dalaguet officials years ago proposed the landscaping of this area to expand additional structures like plaza,food stalls ,tennis court ,rural health center and towns firestation.

Hello everyone. My friends and I went to the plaza of dalaguet. It was a wonderful day to see a such beautiful place like this. We saw different kinds of plants, flowers ,structures of the church that was built during spanished era.I also saw the fortress, a cannon used during the fight of the moro and spaniards. During spanished era in the Philippines history, Filipinos were treated as a slaves.They were exposed to hard labors thus forcing them to manually built churches and fortress like in the picture. The spread of christianity was the main reason why religious structures were built and native filipinos like moros were fighting the colonizers.
The name of this town dalaguet origin came from the tree name dalakit the delicacy of this town is banana meat, torta and also this place called a vegetables basket of the south.The main source of vegetables was in the mountains areas of dalaguete called mantalongon.
