Index4INDEX Card 195: Chaka Khan 1

Your moment of clarity comes when you face your fears.

-- Chaka Khan

About the Quote

Fear clouds judgment, and it results in fuzzy thinking. Fear allows doubt to creep into the mind. Most of all, fear prevents us from realizing our full potential.

Fear is an understandable reaction to situations involving risk. However, every situation we will ever face involves risk. We simply have to move past that fear. If we fail, we regroup, make adjustments, and try again. If we succeed, then we know how to minimize or even eliminate risk for next time.

Fear presents us with numerous options, and we get paralyzed by overanalysis. Through that cloud of indecision is the choice we need to make. That's when we begin to see things clearly.
