This is my latest book review. "Courtship after marriage. Romance can last a lifetime" by Zig Ziglar is a wonderful reading. It's good for those who are single as much as those who are already in a marriage or relationship.
The basics of a happy relationship consist in nurturing it everyday. With small gestures. What matters is to realize that we can't take our partners for granted and that we should always do our best to get to know them.
Loyalty is very important. To stay faithful and value fidelity goes a long way. Ziglar mentions about the dangers of maintaining close relationships with the opposite sex and he recommends to avoid crossing the line because family comes first. So the guys / women who like to have 10 female/male friends and search for a woman/man to understand that, they would be better off if they'd read this book. When it comes to marriage, there is no eating at two tables.
The partner comes first. Before parents, children, acquaintances. Our loved one is first a friend, a partner, a lover. They will be the ones we will have to dedicate to our best self, they are the ones who deserve our commitment, respect and attention. Courtship should continue long after the wedding is done. We are never too old to show appreciation and flirt with our soulmate.
I've done a 2 hour long review of this book and you can watch the video on my Youtube channel
Have a splendid day and toodle loo!
