Purple pinwheels: they come to liven up the mood

Heavy rain has fallen in the last few days. This gets my adrenaline pumping. Throwing away my laziness, I decided to go out looking for mushrooms in the forest yesterday afternoon. There are lots of mushrooms that I found. But I won't share them all here, just one type, and I'll share the others in the next #FungiFriday challenge.

I haven't seen the purple pinwheel (Marasmius haematocephalus) in a long time, but yesterday I did. I would love to see mushrooms like this growing in clusters, but yesterday I only found a few.

The thin, bright purple cap is characteristic of this fungus, and this type is the favorite among other mushrooms. Of the mushroom walks that I often do, I only found them a few times.

Not all the forests I explored had this fungus. So I feel like I'm one of the lucky ones to be able to see such beautiful mushrooms. Hidden in a dim and silent forest, they come to liven up the mood.
