My life has always led me to work in the electrical field. Ever since I was a child, I was immersed in an environment that made me want to do so. I had a neighbor who worked with recycled materials, so I would always get items from her such as light bulbs and small motors that could be connected to 1.5 volt batteries.
From these materials I would spend hours playing and making countless electrical connections intuitively, without the help of an adult. At that time I was a big dreamer, full of hopes and aspirations.
When I got together with friends from the neighborhood to talk about what we wanted to be in the future. I remember that most of them aspired to be: Lawyers, models, doctors, actors, even astronauts. When you're a child, your dreams are big and there aren't so many people to throw buckets of cold water on your dreams.
I dreamed of being a truck driver, because at that time I watched a program on television that aired every Sunday called "Follow the Truck Driver Well (Siga Bem Caminhoneiro)". And this program made this profession seem even more interesting by showing the truck driver's daily life on the roads and also the beauties of Brazil.
At that time I had a neighbor who was a truck driver and everyone said it was a profession that paid very well. I didn't think about the money, I thought about the adventures of driving around the country and seeing new places. I think that when most children think about a profession, the last thing they think about is money.
But when you grow up and start working, even if it's your dream job, what matters in the end is how much you earn. Because even if you work with what you love, sooner or later it will become a routine and if you're not well paid you'll be frustrated with your dream job.
After I grew up, I realized that the profession of truck driver was quite dangerous and stressful. And I didn't have to do much research to see that, my neighbor who was a truck driver was only home after two or three months of work. Of course, his family had a good life thanks to the money they earned, but when I saw him he looked like he had aged 10 years in just a few months.
One day I was called in to take a look at his television, which wasn't turning on - yes, at that time I was very curious, which is why I was able to fix electronic equipment. That day I managed to fix his television and had the opportunity to talk to him about his profession.
I remember that he told me to study and follow another profession, one that wasn't a truck driver. Because the money he earned, although it was a lot, didn't pay for all the wear and tear and danger of the road, and he lost several nights of sleep to deliver the cargo on time, and to do this he had to use drugs to keep him awake. But what struck me most was that he said there was no money in the world that could pay for the time he spent with his family, whom he rarely saw.
After that day, my desire to be a truck driver disappeared completely. I know that in all professions not everything is flowers, but I am fully aware that the profession of truck driver, despite being well paid, is no longer what it used to be. It's not worth the risk of being mugged, suffering traffic accidents on the road, spending sleepless nights, and eating any kind of food - it's a profession that is very damaging to the health of the professional.
Although this profession is very important for the country, transporting food, fuel and various other goods. Truck drivers are practically forced into subhuman working conditions and nowadays their pay is no longer as good as it was in the past. In the very near future, several professions will not exist due to artificial intelligence. And certainly one of the professions that will become extinct will be that of truck driver, due to autonomous cars in the future.
And that's bad on the one hand, because there won't be any more human truck drivers. However, on the other hand, they don't have to be subjected to excessive working hours. Unfortunately, the world is moving towards this reality. Sooner or later, many professions will suffer from the total replacement of humans by machines. I hope we are all prepared for these changes!

Minha vida sempre me direcionou a trabalhar na area Elétrica, desde criança eu estava imerso em um ambiente que me condincionava a isso. Eu tinha uma vizinha que trabalhava com materiais reciclados, por este motivo sempre ganhava dela alguns itens como lâmpadas e motores pequenos que podiam ser ligados em baterias de 1.5 Volts.
A partir desses materiais eu passava horas brincando e fazendo inúmeras ligações elétricas intuitivamente, sem auxilio de um adulto. Nessa época eu era um grande sonhador e cheio de esperanças e aspirações.
Quando me juntava com amigos da vizinhaça para conversar o que queriamos ser no futuro. Lembro que a maioria deles aspiravam ser: Advogados, modelos, médicos, atores, até mesmo astronautas. Quando se é criança os sonhos são grandes e não há tantas pessoas para jogar baldes de água fria em seus sonhos.
Eu sonhava em ser Caminhoneiro, pois nessa época eu assistia um programa na televisão, que passava todos os domingos chamado de "Siga Bem Caminhoneiro". E esse programa fazia com que essa profissão parecesse ainda mais interessante mostrando o dia a dia do caminhoneiro nas estradas e também as belezas do Brasil.
Nessa época eu tinha um vizinho que era Caminhoneiro e todos falavam que era uma profissão que pagava muito bem. Eu não pensava no dinheiro e sim nas aventuras de rodar pelo país e conhecer lugares novos, acho que a maioria das crianças quando pensam em uma profissão, a última coisa que pensam é no dinheiro.
Porém, quando crescemos e começamos a trabalhar, mesmo que seja a profissão dos sonhos o que importa no final das contas é o quanto você ganha. Pois, mesmo que você trabalhe com o que goste cedo ou tarde aquilo se tornará uma rotina e se você não for bem remunerado ficará frustado com a profissão dos sonhos.
Depois que cresci percebir que a profissão de Caminhoneiro era bastante perigosa e desgastante. E não precisei pesquisar muito para constatar isso, meu vizinho que era Caminhoneiro estava somente em casa depois de dois ou três meses de trabalho. É claro que sua família tinha uma boa vida graças ao dinheiro que ganhava, mas quando o via parecia que tinha envelhecido 10 anos em apenas meses.
Certo dia fui chamado para dar uma olhada em sua televisão que não estava ligando, sim nessa época eu era bastante curioso, por isso conseguir consertar equipamentos eletrônicos. Nesse dia consegui consertar sua televisão e tiver a oportunidade de conversar com ele sobre sua profissão.
Lembro que ele falou para estudar e seguir outra profissão, que não seja caminhoneiro. Pois, o dinheiro que ganhava embora fosse muito não pagava todo o desgaste e perigo da estrada, além disso perdia várias noites de sonos para entregar a carga a tempo, e para cumprir essa tarefa precisa utilizar dogras para o manter acordado. Mas, o que mais me marcou foi ele falar que não havia dinheiro no mundo que pagasse os momentos com sua família, que raramente via.
O desejo de ser Caminhoneiro depois desse dia sumiu completamente. Sei que em todas as profissão nem tudo são flores, mas tenho a total ciência que a profissão de Caminhoneiro apesar de ser bem remunerada, não mais como antes. Não vale a penas os risco de ser assaltado, sofrer acidentes de transito na estrada, passar noite sem dormir, e se alimentar de qualquer jeito, é uma profissão que agride muito a saúde do profissional.
Apesar dessa profissão ser muito importante para o país, transportando alimentos, combustíveis e vários outros bens. Os Caminhoneiros são praticamente forçados a condições de trabalho subhumanas e nos dias atuais suas remuneração já não é tão boa quanto no passado. No futuro bem próximo várias profissões não existiram devido a Inteligência artificial. E certamente uma das profissões que se extinguiram será a de caminhoneiro, por automóveis autônomos no futuro.
E isso será ruim de um lado, pois não haverá mais caminhoneiros humanos. Porém, em contra partida eles não precisam ficar submetidos a jornadas de trabalho excessivas. O mundo infelizmente, caminha para essa realidade, cedo ou tarde, várias profissões sofreram com a substituição total do homem por máquinas. Espero que todos nós estejamos preparados para essas mudanças!
