I am a person who has a deep interest in History especially in Islamic History, and when I think about Islamic History there are plenty of events that come to mind. I'm writing some of them below.
Year of the Elephant
Migration to Medina (Hijra)
Battle of Badr (624 CE):
Battle of Uhud (625 CE
Treaty of Hudaybiyyah (628 CE)
Conquest of Mecca (630 CE)
Battle of Tabuk (630 CE)
Farewell Pilgrimage (Hajjat al-Wida)
The historical event that I have decided to write about today is the Conquest of Mecca. This event has significant importance in the life of every Muslim. It happens in 630 CE (8 AH - Hijri calendar).
Migration to Medina event becomes the reason for this event to happen. Our Beloved prophet Hazrat Muhammad ( PBUH) was forced to leave Mecca ( the place where he was born ) by the people of Mecca especially people related to the Quraysh tribe. It was a famous prominent tribe at that moment in Mecca.
When Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH) started to preach the teaching of Islam. The people in Mecca started to oppose him and his teachings.
They even said that there is no one in Mecca more trustworthy and Reliable than Hazrat Muhammad ( PBUH ) but reject him and force his companion who accepted Islam in the early days to leave MECCA.
After Leaving Mecca Hazrat Muhammad ( PBUH) With his few companions moved to Madina and start preaching Islam there. People In Madina accepted what Hazrat Muhammad ( PBUH ) was saying and they started to enter in Islam religion.
Their Numbers started to grow and in just 8 years Hazrat Muhammad ( PHUH ) decided to Migrate back to Mecca when he migrated to Madina from Mecca, there were only 70 people with him and when decided to migrate from Madina to Mecca there were around 10k believers with him.
Upon reaching the Doors Of Mecca He announced that he is not there to fight, he wants to enter the city peacefully and not a single drop of blood will be shed.
The People living in the MECCA realized that they can't fight the force MUHAMMAD ( PBUH ) Came with. So, They open the door of Mecca for him and on the other hand, Muhammad ( PBUH) ( who was once humiliated and forced to leave the mecca in very tough circumstances ) forget everyone and ordered his troops to not hurt anyone.
Nobody will be forced to leave his/her religion, they can live the way they were living before. It was the kindness of HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ( PBUH ) that the people got impressed and they started to enter the religion ISLAM, And today Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world.
I really wanted to be there at the time of this Conquest and wanted to enter the City of MECCA with my Prophet HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ( PBUH ).
This Historical event teaches me that, no matter how people behave with you, you need to behave with them with kindness and virtue. This thing will turn them and they will start to realize their mistake and start to respect you also.
If you are going to behave with them then they have behaved with you, and things will start to get complex.
People of Quresh behaved very badly with HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ( PBUH ) but in return, he always prayed for them and when he was in power and he could defeat them with force, he chooses kindness over his aggression.
