When we think of something to do outside our original professional allocation, we can say that we are doing a hobby. This hobby can be something really fun, just to pass the time or we can be more focused and use it as a way to earn extra money!
Why not? We can use our favorite pastime to earn some money, like several people who today even make a living from it, that is, the game has become the official breadwinner. It's easy to see this in people who generate content, whether on the web3 or not, where everything started as a big joke and today has become something so big that they start their own business having fun.
Speaking more personally, I believe that my biggest hobby currently, which I can say that earns me some money, is precisely the hive, but, of course, this answer is kind of obvious, so, I would like to explain why the hive is my hobby favorite, as well as commenting a little on other points.

First, the hive is a hobby here, because my official job is as a programmer, for 12 years in a company with a system for sales stores focused on retail. So, ok, this is where I routinely work all month, to receive my salary, so this is my job, the one that makes me lazy early and we are grateful when it is time to leave.
With that, hive comes as my hobby, when I write, create content, play (Splinterlands, Rising Star, Dcrops, Golem Overlord, etc.), making new friends and understanding about finance, everything here for me is great fun and therapy, so really I have fun here, doing what I like and as everyone knows, we earn good money here, when we really strive to achieve things.
I can say that another hobby that I really enjoy and that often gives me some resources is working with spreadsheets and graphs! Exactly, spreadsheets and graphs of the most varied types, because many people need something that shows their information organized and ordered and believe me, there are many people who don't even know the basics of it.

Despite not having any advanced course in this regard, whenever possible I help someone close to me and still make a friendly amount, sometimes I end up not even charging anything if it is a simpler request, but if it is a more complex one, I define a fair amount.
The motivation for this is that I have fun challenging myself to create these documents, either putting in a lot of rules or coloring it in a way that is in tune with the data itself. I like to see information assembled, organized and filtered, looking like a work of art. I think I feel the same way when I organize a post here at hive, when the structure is all symmetrical and beautiful, I feel like I've finished a renowned painting.
Lastly, something I've done for a while now is helping my teenage friends level up, league, arena, or regardless of nomenclature in games. Exactly, sometimes I acted like a very amateur coach or I myself would take the game and rank up my friends' profiles and then charge some symbolic value.

Of course, at that time, when I didn't even imagine anything about finances, I always charged low amounts, something that with today's mindset I certainly wouldn't do, after all, my knowledge and skill in such a game was a requested workforce and I could charge a higher value since they wanted to improve their rating so badly.
So, I had fun playing and I still managed to earn some money from my friends, something that helped me buy a snack or whatever else was available at the time, but remember, this is something I don't do today, nor do I have time to talk to truth, to focus on other profiles, other than mine.
It's great when we can unite the useful with the pleasant, that is, doing something we really like and have fun with and with that, getting value in return that will help us in something else.
I would like to end just by saying that not everything is subject to charge, sometimes just helping a person with what they want, donating that knowledge and skill that we have, will be worth more than any money.

Quando pensamos em algo para fazer fora da nossa alocação profissional original, podemos dizer que estamos realizando um hobby. Esse hobby pode muito bem ser algo realmente divertido, apenas para passar o tempo ou podemos ser mais focados e utilizar do mesmo como uma forma de ganhar uma grana extra!
Por que não? Podemos utilizar o nosso passatempo preferido para ganhar algum dinheiro, como várias pessoas que hoje até mesmo vivem disso, ou seja, a brincadeira se tornou o ganha-pão oficial. É fácil ver isso em pessoas que são geradoras de conteúdo, seja na web3 ou não, em que tudo começou como uma grande brincadeira e hoje se tornou algo tão grande, que eles empreendem o seu próprio negócio se divertindo.
Falando de forma mais pessoal, acredito que meu maior hobby atualmente, que posso dizer que rende algum dinheiro para mim, é justamente a hive, mas, claro que essa resposta fica meio obvia, então, gostaria de explicar o poque da hive ser meu passatempo preferido, assim como também comentar um pouco sobre outros pontos.

Primeiro, a hive é sim um hobby aqui, pois meu emprego oficial é como um programador, há 12 anos em uma empresa com um sistema para lojas de vendas focadas em varejo. Então, ok, aqui é onde trabalho rotineiramente o mês todo, para receber o meu salário, então este é o meu trabalho, aquele que da preguiça cedo e agradecemos quando dá a hora de ir embora.
Com isso, a hive entra como meu passatempo, quando escrevo, crio conteúdo, jogo (Splinterlands, Rising Star, Dcrops, Golem Overlord, etc.), fazendo novas amizades e entendendo sobre finanças, tudo aqui para mim é uma grande diversão e terapia, então realmente me divirto aqui, fazendo o que gosto e como todos sabem, ganhamos um bom dinheiro aqui, quando realmente nos esforçamos para conquistar as coisas.
Posso dizer que outro hobby que gosto muito e que muitas vezes me rende alguns recursos, é mexer com planilhas e gráficos! Exatamente, planilhas e gráficos dos mais variados tipos, pois muitas pessoas precisam de algo que mostre suas informações organizadas e ordenadas e pode acreditar, tem muita gente que não sabe nem o básico disso.

Apesar de não ter nenhum curso avançado nesse quesito, sempre que possível ajudo alguma pessoa próxima e ainda faço um valor camarada, às vezes acaba que nem cobro nada se for uma solicitação mais simples, mas caso seja uma mais complexa, defino um valor justo.
A motivação para isso é que me divirto me desafiando a criar estes documentos, seja colocando muitas regras ou colorindo ela de uma forma que fique em sintonia com os próprios dados. Gosto de ver a informação montada, organizada e filtrada, parecendo uma obra de arte. Acho que sinto o mesmo quando organizo uma postagem aqui na hive, quando a estrutura fica toda simétrica e bonita, sinto como se tivesse terminado uma pintura de renome.
Por fim, algo que já fiz há algum tempo, foi ajudar meus amigos da época da adolescência a subir de nível, liga, arena ou independentemente da nomenclatura em jogos. Exatamente, às vezes agia como um coach bem amador ou eu mesmo pegava o jogo e subia a classificação do perfil dos meus amigos e depois cobrava algum valor simbólico.

Claro que naquela época, em que nem imaginava nada sobre finanças, sempre cobrei valores baixos, algo que com a mentalidade hoje com certeza não iria fazer, afinal, o meu conhecimento e habilidade em tal jogo era uma mão de obra solicitada e poderia cobrar um valor maior já que queriam tanto melhorar sua classificação.
Então, me divertia jogando e ainda conseguia ganhar uma grana dos meus amigos, algo que me ajudava a comprar um lanche ou qualquer outra coisa que desse naquela época, mas, lembrando, isso é algo que não faço hoje, nem tenho tempo para falar a verdade, de focar em outros perfis, que não seja o meu.
É ótimo quando podemos unir o útil ao agradável, ou seja, fazer algo que realmente gostamos e nos divertimos e com isso, conseguir um valor em troca que vai nos ajudar em alguma outra coisa.
Gostaria de encerrar apenas dizendo que nem tudo é passível de cobrança, às vezes, apenas ajudar uma pessoa com o que ela deseja, doando esse conhecimento e habilidade que temos, já valerá mais que qualquer dinheiro.
