Hello and welcome to my page hiveans. I'm @daniky, and this is the day 310 of my entry to #IAmAliveChallenge, an initiative by Eric Gustafsson @flaxz.
#HiveisAlive, I'm thankful to God Almighty for the gift of life and for making me witness another new year today. Today commemorates the day i was born into this world. It's a special one for me, and i want to use this medium to appreciate each and everyone that have been of support to me on this blockchain. I love you all.
I once remember a moment i was 20 years of age, and i noticed I've started having moustaches. i was so worried and scared that I was becoming older. I even wept, but little did i know that i still have a long way to go and that growth is a continuous process. Later, i was made to realise that age is just a number, but in reality, one is gradually getting older.
No one who lived 150 years ago is alive to witness this day. As many are dying, more births are recorded on a daily basis. This shows that life is a continuous process & that man is bound to keep moving every day of his life. Birthday is a reminder that time waits for no man, and it's an avenue to reflect on what we've done and achieved so far with the life God has given to us.
I might not have achieved 2/4th of what I'd wanted in life, but for the fact that I'm still living, i definitely know there is hope and possibilities. I'm grateful to God Almighty for scaling me through lots of obstacles to where i am today. It's not by my power, neither is it by my might but by the grace and mercy of God most high.
Humanity comes first in all we do. Showing love and care to the less privileged should be part of our motto. Lots of kids at home and abroad are denied certain rights and privileges due to lack of funds. Many are dying of starvation on a daily basis and require the help of someone out there. The life we live is not only for ourselves, but others. That we are born into this world is a clear indication that we live for humanity sake. You're born to solve one problem or the other for the benefit of humanity and yourself. So, life is a golden privilege that one mustn't be mismanaged. As humans, we are accountable for how we live and utilise our lives.
As each time and moment comes, it opens to us with the grace to set things right. Our body is mortal, and no matter how long we live, there's a time we'll respectively depart this world or space we occupy. Please lets learn to appreciate every moment of our life and set things right. Make a positive landmark wherever you find yourself because a moment will come when you might only be remembered for your good deeds while on earth.
