Your Health is A Key to being Alive (I.A.A.C #236)

#HiveisAlive, I'm thankful I'm alive and thriving despite the hot weather of today. Life goes on and never stops. Glory to God Almighty.

The weather today was so intense and dehydrating. For the past days, I've been less conscious of the fact that I've not been taking adequate water due to how busy I've been, but my body signalled me of dehydration when the intensity of the hotness was much. I had to resort to drinking more glasses of water than usual.

One needs to rehydrate daily to keep the body osmotic pressure in check. Water is life, and drinking it in adequate amount shouldn't be taken for granted. The more water we drink daily, the less likelihood we fall sick.

This period in Nigeria is a period most people fall sick. Some people also faints as well due to excessive dehydration. One mustn't rehydrate beyond the daily required amount because this may result in stomach inbalances and excessive urination.

Aside from the fact that one needs to improve on daily water intake, there's a need to also take more of fibres in our diet. Fruits and vegetables are rich in fibre content, which help promote healthy digestion.

So by these we can see the benefit of water, fruits and vegetables in the body.
