What is child development?
Child development includes all the transitional milestones that occur in a child which determine the ability to learn and relate with others in society and the general behaviour as the child grows into adulthood.
Generally, a child's attitude is largely determined by a lot of factors during this developmental stage and these factors are more environmental than biological.
This simply means that the environment where a child is raised will affect the attitude of the child as the child grows into adulthood. The environment consists of people around and other factors the child is exposed to as he/she goes through the formative period of his/her life.
For instance, a child born into a good family with a high moral standard but raised in a bad and corrupt environment will surely reflect the characteristics he/she picks from the bad or corrupt environment where he or she is been raised. This tells us that the attitude of a child can be shaped or conditioned by the environment in which the child is exposed to.
