So on Hive, which is a decentralized blockchain, we have a shared rewards pool, and we have Upvotes and Downvotes to decide how this rewards pool is distributed.

As the Hive community decides how to distribute the rewards there are still some unofficial common agreement of what is ok and what is not ok to post in regards to being fair about this common rewards pool.

For someone new to Hive this can sometimes be a bit hard to understand, or to know what these unofficial rules are, but the most common points are these 3.

Only post your own original content on Hive, content that you have made yourself and not published before.
If you are publishing pictures or graphics that you have made yourself, then also state that they are your own, or what program you used to create it with.
And if you are using free to use pictures from the internet, like from Pexels for example, then add a source link to it, so that it's easy to see that you have the right to use it.

By following these 3 points you will avoid a lot of trouble, as you can get downvoted if you don't, and your own content is most likely more you and more personal anyways, and therefore easier for you to build relations and networking on the blockchain, which is the foundation of long term success on Hive.
