Hello to all Saturday Savers. We are now almost at the end of July and the end of week 30. You can check what week it is here.
July is almost over and we are ready to start a new month of August. That gives us 5 months left to reach our goals. It is a good time of the year as we have past the half way mark and are now on the home stretch racing toward the finishing line.
Hive after briefly losing the $0,36 price this week has managed to regain it quite strongly and things are looking quite good for the months ahead i think.
The great thing about Hive is that there are lots of things being built using Hive such as some good games coming like Muterra and Genesis League Goals. We also have social media dapps being developed and lots of opportunity for people to create content and earn unlike with web2 where they now want people to pay.
Even Medium this week announced for new members that to earn on their site, you will need to first pay to be a subscriber. How different and restrictive that is compared to Hive. I wonder how long it will be for Facebook and Instagram to implement the same? Not only do they own all your data, they charge you for it now too!
This week my Hive Power grew by 309 which is a good week of growth for me. I am almost at 78k HP and almost at 50% of my goal. I am slightly behind my target but should catch that up easily once we have HPUD on Monday.
My ALIVE tokens grew by 139 this week. The token value remains very strong and therefore I did not buy any extra tokens this week. I still keep an eye out for any extra buying opportunities.
Genesis League Goals token has dropped back a little again and therefore I bought some more tokens this week. my holdings increased by 6930 which is 17,9%, so it was a nice boost. I am getting close to catching up to my target to be able to reach my goal by the year end which is good.
So far the beta game is live and the general go live should be in August.
Week 18 in the 365 Day HBD challenge is completed this week:
This week I have saved 8,22 HBD which is less than my target of 8,61 HBD, but pretty close. I am still 99% of my savings target which is good. This week I need to save 9,1 HBD so the saving is getting much more challenging and we are not even half way through yet.
It is good to see my savings grow though. So far I have saved 79,10 HBD which is pretty good and it is earning me 20% interest which will also help toward my goal.
