Jueves en la noche. Luego de un día tranquilo y sin nada nuevo que contar, estoy haciendo el registro del día, pero más que enfocarme en mi #vida (que la llevo con tanta calma como puedo, hasta el punto de parecer aburrida), voy a centrarme en la efeméride de la #Historia de hoy, se trata de que es el ‘Día Mundial de las Noticias’.

Las noticias son cosas cotidianas, en las décadas que he visto pasar, he podido ver como cambiaron los medios de comunicación, los formatos de noticieros y los estilos de presentar noticias. Así, si antes mis principales fuentes de #noticias eran la #radio, la #TV y los periódicos, en este siglo XXI, los medios y plataformas digitales han tomado la preponderancia.
Los medios tradicionales no han desaparecido, en muchos casos las empresas de noticias se han integrado y recreado en un nuevo contexto, así que han dado el paso de los medios tradicionales de los siglos anteriores, y ahora están presentes en la web, en las apps y en toda clase de cosas nuevas.

This day of celebration is quite recent, although newscasts (in different media and different formats) have existed for a long time, it was from 2018 that the World Editors Forum proposed to celebrate this day on September 28 of each year. This initiative had the support of the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) and the Canadian Journalism Foundation... To a certain extent, due to personal things, I don't feel at all surprised to see something related to the press, journalism and news, which is sponsored by Canada.
In short, it is a day to celebrate not only the content space called 'news' but also all the people who are behind its production, research, presentation and dissemination. It is a day to recognize the work that is done to publicize the events that occur in the world and that can (in one way or another) have an impact on our lives.
Well… the post was short for me, but I think it is quite concise, so I will apply the old rule that: 'if it seems good to you, and it is short, then it is doubly good'. Anyway, I say goodbye, hoping that you are well, that you receive good news and that we can read again another time.

Este día de celebración es bastante reciente, a pesar de que los noticieros (en distintos medios de comunicación y diferentes formatos) han existido por mucho tiempo, fue a partir de 2018 que el Foro Mundial de Editores (WEF, por sus siglas en inglés) propuso celebrar este día el 28 de septiembre de cada año. En esta iniciativa se contó con el apoyo de la Asociación Mundial de Editores de Noticias (WAN-IFRA) y la Fundación Canadiense de Periodismo… En cierta medida, debido a cosas personales, no me siento para nada extrañado de ver algo relacionado con prensa, periodismo y noticias, que tenga el patrocinio de Canadá.
En fin, que es un día para celebrar no solo el espacio de contenidos llamado ‘noticia’ sino también a toda la gente que está detrás de su producción, investigación, presentación y difusión. Es un día para reconocer el trabajo que se hace para dar a conocer los sucesos que ocurren en el mundo y que pueden (de una u otra manera) tener impacto en nuestras vidas.
Vaya, el post me ha quedado breve, pero creo que es bastante conciso, así que aplicaré la vieja regla de que: ‘si te parece bueno, y es breve, entonces doblemente bueno es’. En fin, ya me despido, deseando que tú estés bien, que recibas buenas noticias y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.
