I believe that what ever we do in life, we are doing it for ourselves either good or bad, everything will come back to us.
It's saddened my heart to see people stop doing good things just because someone don't appreciate what you have done. Though, it is normal to feel emotionally because someone don't appreciate your effort or support but that should not stop you from doing what you have to do for other people.
Not everyone will really appreciate your effort or support even despite the fact that they know all the things you did if for their own growth. But don't be surprised because not everyone will actually appreciate your effort or support no matter what length you went to do it, but never allow an ingrate to stop you from making other people's great. Life is full of many ingrate people but their are still few people out their who will appreciate everything you do for them.
Keep making people great and neglect those ingrate people because one day you will realized that everything you did is for yourself not for people to appreciate you. Because every good things you did will later be your achievement that you will one day be proud of. Keeping doing the good things you can because there is always a great rewards in making others great.
