I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! ðððâĄðĨðĨâīïļâģïļâïļðĢðąâĻðĪ
Warm greetings all! ðððâĻðĪ
With BTC continuing to move up in price when compared to fiat currencies like the US Dollar, and with it the entire crypto market following suit, I've been hearing talk on Hive that the price of HIVE going up will have the effect of bringing people back to greater activity on the Blockchain. While I understand why this would be, honestly it annoys me a lot, because to me it shows what people's true intentions and motivatione are. It also shows a great lack of awareness of the immense potential of Hive, both as a far better and more elegant and efficient financial system, and its very real practical capability to help people worldwide to supercede their local economic conditions.
Returning when the price of HIVE is higher is actually completely opposite of an effective methodology for succeeding here, because it is during those times when the crypto market is low that it is most effective to build, grow, and save, not when prices are, high, when it's actually more difficult. Because so many people only see the US Dollar value of assets like HIVE, they think that if the value is low when compared to the Dollar, that this is a measure of true value. This is actually completely wrong. As I've said many times in these posts, Hive and its assets have far more inherent and intrinsic value than any fiat currency, because they are not based on debt, but rather on our very real and meaningful human value.
For those of us who never left, and who have been committed, dedicated, and consistent this whole time, I salute you and send you an huge thank you for your love for, and your belief in, this life-and-world-changing human Blockchain, that we as stakeholders own. You showed faith when so many didn't. That's very important in my eyes.
What would you do if the fiat value of HIVE jumped to $5, $10, $50, or even $100? Would you cash out your stake and leave, or would keep building, growing, and saving? Anybody who knows me or follows my posts will also know immediately what my choice would be. I don't give a rat's ass what HIVE's fiat value is, because Hive is far more important and valuable than any fiat currency. Hand down. Period. The end.
Saturday, yesterday, continued my buried-overwhelmed-and-behind Hive week, with me doing everything I could to get everything done and up to date. It's incredible just how many notifications that I receive each and every day! If I don't work to catch up every few hours, I find myself quickly buried!
It really has not helped that this week seems to have been the one for broken tip bots, with multiple (LUV, LOLZ, DHEDGE) simply ceasing to function, and more than once for some. I also noticed that I stopped receiving dividend payments for INDEX and COM. I don't know exactly when that stopped, but if it continues for too long I'll simply sell those assets for something that's actually reliable. Multiple Hive websites, like ListNerds (which has been broken for ages) and HashKings, have also been either down or broken for weeks now. Those are my little Hive frustrations that I had go express. Hive is an exceptional Blockchain, but things like that turn people off fast. I'm just really loyal, determined, and tenacious...ð
I left the Flow House yesterday around 3:30PM, taking some time to take photos for this post first, before focusing on land work. I didn't actually get to land work, however, as I tried to help Sperry (@nysqually) to add money to his Coinbase account, buy LTC, and then send it to Hive Engine. The experience was over-the-top frustrating, and it just hit home the fact that no centralized exchange should be trusted, at all, ever. They took a sizeable chunk of the money that he sent to them as two fees, and then once we had the LTC bought, they wouldn't allow him to send it to Hive Engine, saying that his account was restricted, and would be for the next seven days. All attempts to contact customer service met with failure. So presently our only recourse is to try to send the LTC again in seven days. That is wrong on so many levels. Attempting to help Sperry took me clear until after sunset.
After my attempt at helping Sperry, I made food for myself in the Landing, got food for my kitten friend, then I returned to the Flow House for my long evening round of Hive catch-up and tasks, which given how far behind I was, took me from around 7PM to after 12AM of nonstop work, and I still wasn't able to fully get caught up on my notifications! Absolutely crazy ðĪŠ!
I made myself go to sleep around 12:30AM, and I slept well, waking up around 5:30AM and immediately starting on some token management and one important time-sensitive Hive task. I finally got out of bed just before 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee. It's now just after 1:30PM, so a great time to end this post, so that I can dive into my afternoon round of Hive catch-up and tasks, before beginning on my 74th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update, which I'll publish later tonight, hopefully not too late! I deeply appreciate you all very much! Until that post tonight, and the nezt iteration of this post tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! ð ð ð âĻ ðĪ
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Power Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! ðððâĻðĪ
