Hello walkers and friends!
We continue walking and running towards the horizon. One day and another, each day special and different even though the paths are similar. Because nothing is the same and every walk, every Wednesday is a unique day. And here we share them, in the #WednesdayWalk community of @tattoodjay.
One of my favorite and usual walks it is close to the sea, almost in race mode, but now you have to take it another way because the light show changes. It is already autumn and not only a light and finally fresh breeze announces it but more notably the change of light and darkness.
From the equinox the days are shorter, from the solstice they are, but perhaps it is now along with routine when we realize more that in the morning it is still night. Where is the sun?
When I approach the sea I think that the sun must be sleeping under the sea far away on the horizon line where the world seems to end, the world is what we perceive at that moment around us and now around us we see a beautiful multicolored light that predicts the beginning of another new day. A spectacular moment is about to arrive.
So with eagerness and expectation we wait to greet the sun, we are getting closer to the sea and also to the sun that greets us back with all its beauty and brilliance in total splendor.
It makes us want to go swimming, to try to get there to touch that wonderful light that extends to our eyes. It pulls us there, and we continue taking steps as if we could reach the rising sun.
We can't but in the short distance we are entertained by the soft tones and the brightness that reflects in the sea. While we change direction.
Now in the wooded area we feel at peace and we play with the sun by hiding between trunks, but the sun's rays pass through the crowns of those lucky trees that every day witness the magic of sunrise by the sea.
The day becomes warm, almost hot, the feeling of summer has not yet completely left us, we feel the sweat of movement, the sea is still there, it is close, and it is far away.
We pass by the beach but we no longer look at the sun so much, it is powerful and we think that the moment is over now and the walk is over, all that remains is to turn our backs to the intense light and walk back.
We come back and live our day, until let it be another day, until we go out again, take a new walk and enjoy these beautiful changes, the lights of this autumn sun.
