Hello, poets. Let me get your attention: big upvote! Do you want one? We're not talking my fairly small .10 upvote nor the community one, but rather a large one from @blocktrades, @ocd, @theycallmedan, and @leofinance. If you want their big upvotes, read on!
Every Friday from now on we are going to have a poll to vote on best poetry post from the past week. The winner of this poll will get some big upvotes!
How it will go is this:
- The mods in this group will all submit to me their 4 favorite posts from the week. I (@dbooster) will then select 4 posts from all of these that I have been given.
- I will create a poll on Leo Threads with these four posts and I will share the link to this poll in this announcement post
- I hope all of you will visit this poll and vote. Voting will be from the time I create the poll until midnight PST on Sunday.
- I will announce the winner in the next week's Friday announcement post which will also double as the results post. All those big accounts will vote on this post, but never you worry—the poetry winner will be set as beneficiary for most of the post, so you will get a large percentage of those big upvotes.
Also: Going forward, while we will pick what we consider the best poems, or at least the ones that jump out at us the most, we will also make some effort to spread things around and not always nominate the same people.
For this first week, the selected posts are:
- @gaurav.art with Friendship
- @clayboyn with Reflections
- @silviu93 with Rhyme and Read:1984 by George Orwell
- @silher with Friendship / La amistad
Please go vote on your favorite of these at the Threads poll → here
And after you vote, go and start crafting some great poems for the next one. Maybe we'll choose you next week! We will keep doing this contest weekly as long as LeoFinance sponsors it. You can read about their program, titled "Author of the Week" here.
