Hello everyone, I hope you are well 😀
Today we visited Ponte de Lima, Portugal.
Ponte de Lima is a Portuguese village located in the Alto Minho. This village belongs to the district of Viana do Castelo.
The visit to Ponte de Lima was a family visit, with great euphoria 😁
I start by showing you the Old Prison tower, an ancient monument with a round artifact and a clock at the top of the tower.
In Ponte de Lima square there is a historic fountain where many tourists visit and photograph it.
To cross the Lima River we have a century-old bridge. The bridge has a phenomenal view of the river.
A stunning mountain view at the end of the river.
When crossing the historic bridge we come across the church of Santo António with its Portuguese tiles.
On the banks of the Lima River there are several statues with a gigantic historical significance.
You can see a statue of a soldier on his horse.
Next to the church of Santo António there is a stone statue called Statue of Bom Caminho.
This statue is visited by pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
Ponte de Lima is one of the oldest villages in Portugal.
I hope you liked it, see you in the next post 😉
