Dear Hivers in the Worldmappin community, today I want to introduce to you a beautiful destination and a unique culture in the area where I live.
I live in Mang Den, a small town in Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province. Where I live, there are small villages of the Xo Dang and Mo Nam ethnic minorities. They still maintain their unique lifestyle and culture.
One of those things is the rice house. They build rice houses near rice fields or at the edge of the forest to store rice after harvesting it. These rice houses are small stilt houses. They look like little people's houses in the forest.
One of the local cultures here is building houses for the dead. Those houses are called tomb houses. That's why many people mistake these rice houses as tombs. Tomb houses are often accompanied by wooden statues, and they are usually smaller and lower than rice houses.
It is these unique architecture and locations that give these rice houses a unique beauty. They look like the houses of dwarves in fairy tales. So, if you have the opportunity to travel to Mang Den, don't miss the opportunity to explore the beauty of these rice houses.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Hope it's interesting for you. And have a nice day.
