Hoy me encantaría compartirles mi experiencia en la montaña más alta de Portugal y sus hermosos paisajes que puedes encontrar a los alrededores en este maravilloso viaje.

Primero comenzamos en Lisboa que es la ciudad donde resido, es un viaje al rededor de 3 h-4 h en carretera, también a través del internet puedes comprar billetes de buses turísticos que se dirigen a la montaña. En mi caso mi preferencia fue irme en coche, ya que es mucho más cómodo y tienes la flexibilidad de realizar paradas para tomar fotos lindas de paisajes y conocer los pueblos cercanos a nuestro destino

Today I would love to share with you my experience in the highest mountain of Portugal and its beautiful landscapes that you can find in the surroundings in this wonderful trip.

First we started in Lisbon which is the city where I live, it is a journey of about 3-4 hours by road, also through the internet you can buy tickets for tourist buses that go to the mountain. In my case my preference was to go by car, since it is much more comfortable and you have the flexibility to make stops to take beautiful pictures of landscapes and to know the towns near our destination.

PRIMERA PARADA!

Convento de Cristo - Tomar

En nuestro recorrido decidimos realizar una parada en el famoso Convento de Cristo - Tomar; la UNESCO la declaro patrimonio de la humanidad en 1983, como pueden ver en las fotos fue construido sobre un lugar de culto romano, este vasto conjunto monumental nos habla de siete siglos de la historia de Portugal.

FIRST STOP!

Convent of Christ - Tomar.

On our tour we decided to make a stop at the famous Convent of Christ - Tomar; UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 1983, as you can see in the pictures it was built on a Roman place of worship, this vast monumental ensemble tells us about seven centuries of Portuguese history.

El convento, a pesar de ser construidos unos siglos atrás, se logró conservar en unas condiciones impresionantes, como pueden observar en las fotos, se puede apreciar los lugares donde las personas en el convento convivían como el jardín, las torres, los dormitorios, pasillos, bañeros, etc.

The convent, in spite of being built a few centuries ago, has been preserved in an impressive condition, as you can see in the photos, you can appreciate the places where the people in the convent lived, such as the garden, the towers, the dormitories, corridors, baths, etc.

Los baños, como pueden observar en la parte de arriba, tiene unos agujeros que es donde el agua caía.

The bathrooms, as you can see in the upper part, have holes where the water used to fall.

El resto de las fotos serían las áreas comunes donde las personas se desplazaban, en esa zona en específico se encontraban los dormitorios, zonas para rezar y el comedor.

The rest of the photos would be the common areas where people moved around, in this specific area there were the bedrooms, prayer areas and the dining room.

SEGUNDA PARADA!

En nuestro recorrido realizamos una parada en este lindo pueblo, a pesar de no ser muy grande conseguimos apreciar la naturaleza que lo rodea y tomar algunas fotos

SECOND STOP!

On our tour we made a stop in this nice village, although it is not very big we managed to appreciate the surrounding nature and take some pictures.

Parque fluvial da penada; suele ser un punto de pesca de los lugareños, puedes encontrarte con muchos peces saltando en todo el circuito del agua.

River Park da penada; it is usually a fishing spot for locals, you can find many fish jumping all along the water circuit.

SEIA

Ese mismo día logramos visitar el museo del pan que se encuentra localizado en Seia, donde logramos aprender la antigüedad y las muchas maneras que eran realizados los panes en la antigüedad, además que se pueden apreciar en el museo las variedades de panes que pueden encontrar en Portugal*

That same day we managed to visit the bread museum located in Seia, where we learned about the antiquity and the many ways that breads were made in ancient times, also you can appreciate in the museum the varieties of breads that can be found in Portugal.

Logramos toparnos todavía con decoración de navidad, gracias a eso la visita del museo fue mágico.

We still managed to come across Christmas decorations, so the visit to the museum was magical.

Obviamente, no falto dejar mi huella en ese precioso museo.

Obviously, I did not fail to leave my mark on this beautiful museum.

Es una de mis fotos favorita, podemos apreciar como se comerciaba antiguamente el pan a través de una bicicleta.

This is one of my favorite photos, we can see how bread was traded in the old days by means of a bicycle.

Ahora nos adentramos a la zona infantil, una idea bastante creativa con decoración adorable para que los niños aprendan y se diviertan en el museo.

Now we enter the children's area, a very creative idea with adorable decorations for children to learn and have fun in the museum.

Tuvimos un día agotador viajando y conociendo diferentes pueblos, absorbiendo conocimientos de cada uno de ellos.

We had an exhausting day traveling and getting to know different towns, absorbing knowledge from each one of them.

TERCERA PARADA!

Antes de adentrarnos a Serra de Estrela que era nuestro objetivo principal, decidimos hacer una parada en este maravilloso parque cerca del museo natural de la electricidad; logre captar fotos mágicas de la naturaleza que lo rodea.

THIRD STOP!

Praia Fluvial Doutor Pedro

Before going into Serra de Estrela which was our main goal, we decided to make a stop in this wonderful park near the natural museum of electricity; I managed to capture magical pictures of the surrounding nature.

Si estás en busca de tranquilidad, tiempo con la naturaleza, contigo misma y hacer fotografías increíbles de la naturaleza te rodea, sin duda te recomiendo este lugar.

If you are looking for tranquility, time with nature, with yourself and to take amazing pictures of the nature around you, I definitely recommend this place.

SERRA DE ESTRELA!

Amigos llegamos a nuestro objetivo, ahora es momento de compartir mi experiencia en la montaña más alta de Portugal, pero antes me gustaría compartir mi conocimiento e información de la misma; su máxima altura es de 1993 metros en la Torre, siendo esta la máxima altura del Portugal continental, se encuentra centrada entre Seia y Covillana. Sabías que? en Portugal solo se existe una estación de esquí y lo podemos encontrar en el tope de la sierra; también necesitamos saber lo que se encuentra en la montaña, la sierra está constituido por numerosos filones de cuarzo, pegmatitas graníticas y doleritas, a pesar de su longitud de 100 km logramos apreciar vegetación y lugareños alrededor de la sierra.

Friends we reached our goal, now it's time to share my experience in the highest mountain in Portugal, but first I would like to share my knowledge and information of it; Its maximum height is 1993 meters, in the Tower, being this the maximum height of continental Portugal, is centered between Seia and Covillana: in Portugal there is only one ski resort and we can find it at the top of the mountain range; the mountain range is constituted by numerous quartz seams, granitic pegmatites and dolerites, in spite of its length of 100 km we can appreciate vegetation and locals around the mountain range.

• Nota. Esa bolsa de compra que se aprecia en la foto, fue en el mercado que se encuentra en el tope de la sierra donde pueden comprar licores, quesos, decoración , recuerdos y comida, todo elaborado artesanalmente con los lugareños que habitan la sierra.

• Note: That shopping bag that you can see in the photo was at the market at the top of the sierra where you can buy liquors, cheeses, decoration, souvenirs and food, all handmade by the locals who live in the sierra.

ULTIMA PARADA

Espinho. Dolmen Cunha Baixa

Logramos aprovechar nuestro día al máximo de regreso a casa realizando paradas en espinho, donde se encuentra Dolmen Cunha Baixa; hace unos 6.000 años, pequeñas comunidades vagaban y vivían en estas zonas, refugiándose en estructuras hechas con materiales vegetales y refugios naturales. Se dedicaban al pastoreo, la caza, la pesca, la recolección de alimentos de la naturaleza e incluso a una agricultura rudimentaria.

LAST STOP

Espinho. Dolmen Cunha Baixa

We managed to make the most of our day on the way back home by making stops in Espinho, where Dolmen Cunha Baixa is located; about 6,000 years ago, small communities wandered and lived in these areas, taking refuge in structures made of plant materials and natural shelters. They were engaged in herding, hunting, fishing, gathering food from nature and even rudimentary agriculture.

Museo del papel

Quiero compartir mi experiencia en el museo del papel donde aprendí, la manera que era fabricado antiguamente el papel y la historia de una familia portuguesa que antiguamente eran los únicos fabricantes del material en el continente, también aprendí que logran reciclar un porcentaje alto los productos incluso hasta cajas de pizzas, ayudando a la contaminación del planeta.

Paper Museum

I want to share my experience in the paper museum where I learned, the way paper was manufactured in the past and the history of a Portuguese family that in the past were the only manufacturers of the material in the continent, I also learned that they manage to recycle a high percentage of the products even up to pizza boxes, helping to the pollution of the planet.

Muchas gracias a las personas que recorrieron este viaje de 4 días, leyendo mi post, logre aprender, compartir en familia, disfrutar, divertirme y desconectar del estrés que nos rodea cada día.
Muchas veces nos privamos de hacer muchas cosas que nuestro cuerpo necesita, ya sea por el trabajo, estudio, tiempo y otra circunstancia que nos impida disfrutar del mundo, siempre piensa en ti primero cuerpo y alma, la única prioridad en tu vida eres tú mismo.

Many thanks to the people who went through this 4 day trip, reading my post, I managed to learn, share with my family, enjoy, have fun and disconnect from the stress that surrounds us every day.
Many times we deprive ourselves of doing many things that our body needs, either by work, study, time and other circumstances that prevent us from enjoying the world, always think of you first body and soul, the only priority in your life is yourself.
