Hello all! Another week and it's time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. I'm going to look at the progress I've made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I'm looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we'll get to that too. I also want to give a brief preview of some of the posts I have coming this week, at least the ones I've already written and scheduled.
Let's start with my Hive goals.
~ Hive & HBD ~
My current goal is 25k Hive.
This past week I made 173.760 and powered up 100 for HPUD, making 273.760 and bringing me to 17,899.41 total Hive Power. That's 71.6% of my goal!
So let's do some math. 25k minus 17,899.41 gives us 7100.59. Divided out that gives us a needed daily value of 59.7 Hive to reach 25k by the first of next year. Looks like last week it was 58.5. Hmm... still going up, despite my HPUD power-up. Still no hope of getting there, but I might get close. So...how close will I get by the end of the year? Any guesses?
~ BRO, PIMP, and LGN ~
Perhaps like many of you, I've soured on a lot of the crap on Hive-Engine. It is full of so many shit tokens. A lot of these tokens may have good intentions, but they have no idea how to set up a token and so they die quickly (like WIT). Some fall prey to corruption, like UTOPIS, where the creator takes the money and runs. Or blows it all on hookers and blow.
Three of the very few good ones are BRO, PIMP, and LGN. The latter still has no real utility, but it from the BRO team and so I think we can give them the benefit of doubt here. They have currently stopped selling LGN while they buy up all the underpriced LGN from the airdrop that is being dumped. If you are wise, you might buy up some of that too—it is often going for less than a hive each, which is more than they were selling for and will presumably sell for again. You get a daily Hive dividend from your LGN holding.
I didn't buy any BRO this past week, but I did pick up some LGN. And of course I earned lots of PIMP from curation. If you have some free money, I'd recommend any of these three.
~ Cublife ~
Just a quick note on this one. Cublife is pulling the plug on their token. But unlike some other shit tokens that leave investors high and dry, the team behind CL set up a buy wall to buy up all investor tokens. If you have any, unstake them now (they unstake in only a day) and sell.
~ Silver Dragons ~
I don't have any new silver to show off this week, but I did come across this
Next year is the year of the dragon, and Asahi is producing a very attractive dragon round for the event. The dragon isn't quite as impressive as the one on these old Japanese coins
But it is still very nice looking. I'm going to order some as soon as I search up and find it on some Japanese sites. If you are interested, here is a site that has them. I'm sure all the other coin sites also will let you order it for similar prices.
