What this did for me was to help me build a concentration for some of the tokens that differed from my Hive Goals. This year, it's going to be a little different for me. I still don't have much to save but there is still some concentration.

My 2023 Saturday Savers Club Plan With @sally-saver

I continue to be driven to save every way I can starting with my primary & secondary focus in building my SPI & BXT. In addition to saving on Hive, I am also saving offline in my native currency (USD), also following the 365 daily compound plan.

The last month or so has been a difficult time for me with my mother being sick & in the hospital, and than ending in her passing on. Also, she lived in Tennessee, so I had to do a bit of traveling and took 3 trips back & forth. And to finish that off I got terribly sick myself upon returning home.

Well now I'm back & feeling better & need to continue on. I've been gone for 6 weeks now but I still continued with my savings strategy as much as possible. This post will cover the events of the past 6 weeks, bringing me up to present week 15.

Main Focus SPI & BXT

SPI - Primary & BXT - Secondary

Getting some SBI & BXT is quite the difficult task, especially trying to play catch up for the past 6 weeks. At this time, I know that I won't be meeting all my savings goals as planned and will be playing catch up while trying to stay on track by adding a little more where I can to each weekly amount.

Let's see where I stand Week #10;

image.png

I try to add a minimum of 1 SPI & 1 BXT each week. That would be a total of 6 for each, however I'm not able to meet those right now. I will continue to add 1 each week & try for a little more each week.

My 365 Plan

This is where I attempt a bit much but, I need to hold more of these tokens & it's not going to happen by me just saying it. Some of these tokens are a bit on the pricey side for me, but right now I see them as fair game while the prices are down a little. Although this is a day-by-day plan, there may be times when I have a little extra to spend and what better way to spend it then for my savings goals.

The chart is growing along with the Savings;

This chart displays from the beginning of the year to present. What I added and total, along with what I actually hodl. I originally thought I would add just what I needed each week but found that getting a bit confusing. So I will add what I buy & show what I actually hold as some of these tokens are rewarded to me for various reasons. As the last 6 weeks have been a personal headache (so to speak),
I need a total of 30.80 of each token to catch up on my weekly goals. Tokens like CTPSB & WORKERBEE are a bit costly & that makes things a bit tough, but I was able to build some the others to bring the totals to level. For those that I didn't buy for, I will add a little more than my weekly amounts to catch up. some like DHedge was already well above the amount needed so I was able to leave those where they were but will work hard to catch them all up to date in the coming few weeks.

Offline Savings

I am also saving offline on the 365 Plan, I sure can use $667.95 at the end of the year, how about you.

For this task I had to make my own chart to follow as while the one they used in the Saturday Savers Club was definitely okay, but I find that it gets a little confusing further down in the chart. If you find that's the case for you & you like my chart, feel free to make use of it. (12 Weeks At-A-Time Chart). It's an MS Excel file which will copy & paste easily to almost any software. I only put out 12 weeks at a time as that's what fits on a sheet of paper & keeps it even. Now that we're well pass the first quarter, here I display the first 12 weeks plus just enough of weeks 13-24 to show where I'm at with my savings. The (*) in the CHK column denotes that it's complete.

Saving For A Unicorn

My Bank Has Run Over, Busted Out, & Restarted!

I've had this bank for a while now & before I decided to use it for my savings it was nearly full & held nearly $20. I like Unicorns and that's what made me buy this bank. 'Saving for a Unicorn' as if that's possible, Unicorns are mythical creatures but somehow, they have been used as a symbol of many things. It's also a symbol for the group that bought me to hive, #CTP (https://ctptalk.com), we believe that every cent saved is another cent toward saving a Unicorn.

Weeks 10/11 thru 14/15 Comparison

Saving For a Unicorn! I was worried that the difference wouldn't be noticeable but now I know it is. Can you see the difference? Added a total of $30.80 for weeks 11 thru 15, new total $55.65 as of April 15, 2023.

What Happens When The Bank Is Full?

As you can see at in the pic of the bank for week 11 filled the bank and below you can see where the bank was ready to bust out the back, so in lite of that the bank now goes thru the cycle of what happens when the bank is full. The bank will need to then be emptied to continue using it as it's the only one I have. I will count what's in the bank, then I will trade it out for dollar bills that I will put in a bank account that I don't use for anything right now. the change will go back in the change cup to be recycled. This is the procedure I will use each time the bank gets full. Check out below the bank account's balance after the first recycle, I will post the new pic with each recycle.

Where does my savings come from?

My savings come from all the change I find in the bottom of my purse, after a couple of days I get all the change out & put it somewhere. It usually would go in my bank, but now I have a change cup. I will only put the designated amount in the bank that I need to. All other change will go into my change cup to help with the times when the daily amount exceeds what I have. And now that things are underway, & as my methods change the change cup method also has to change. So Here's my 'Change Cup' after week 11;

Week 11 Bank Extras crp.png

Those rolls of coins I got a few weeks ago have now been exhausted so now the bank is full & I will recycle the change. (See above; What Happens When the Bank Is Full?). I will continue to add my loose change to the cup as well.

Well this about covers my saving plan for this week with @sally-saver & her Saturday Savers Club. If you care to join or would like to know more about the club, just click on the bright yellow banner below.
