Good evening hivers, I wish you a happy weekend... Today, I am very happy to be able to participate again in the proposals of our friend @galenkp when I read that one of the questions was related to an activity that I enjoy and love to do I did not doubt for a second that this option would be the one chosen... I hope you enjoy my participation!
Many people enjoy cooking for enjoyment over the weekend as there's more time for it. Do you cook/prepare food more on the weekends due to more time or do you choose more take-out/pre-prepared food?
In my childhood memories and later as a teenager I remember that my parents always had the habit of inviting the whole family to share during the weekends in different activities, card games and dominoes were always the protagonist, but what was most present were the different dishes on the table. My mother together with the help of my father organized themselves to cook their favorite recipes and be the best hosts. I grew up watching my parents cook everything with a lot of love and that beautiful feeling was also extended to the time of washing the dishes. I must admit that in the first years of my adolescence I didn't give much value to those moments I shared with my family, since my priorities were others, like getting together with my cousins to dance or sing, but one day when my father had a cold I had to help my mother in the kitchen, there I could feel the connection and love I felt when cooking.
The truth is that for many years I have enjoyed the art of cooking, in my case there is no point of difference between a Monday or a weekend, since I work from home and I can manage my time well. I don't usually plan what I'm going to cook, when I wake up while enjoying my first coffee I take advantage of giving free rein to my imagination and in that moment of peace that I feel when enjoying the flavor of the coffee I discard some recipes until the dish that provokes me to cook for that day. When we feel like eating in a restaurant, I prefer to put on my apron and open a bottle of wine while we toast and listen to music. What I enjoy most is watching my mother's face when she takes the first bite and I discover the shine of happiness in her eyes and she says to me smiling: I congratulate you, I loved it! I think you should feel passion when cooking, when you do it with dedication, care and creativity you will always achieve good results!
As for my eating situation, I always try to cook including a lot of vegetables to take advantage of all the benefits they bring to our body, although I must admit that my great weakness is desserts, I am working to keep sugar out of my life, but I haven't. been easy!

If I had to mention what my favorite hobbies are, cooking would undoubtedly be one of them, for this reason I always try to complete my tasks on time, in order to cook with a lot of patience and dedication.
